I feel like with each book of the series I’ve been rating it less and less.
I love Cardan and Jude, but I wish there was more time between them and for it to not to be as rushed.
This book felt rushed at places and slow in others. A lot of it was guessable with no true oh my gosh moments thrown in with twists, which is a disappointment since both first books had great twists.
I feel like there isn’t a lot of closure and that could be because Holly Black has something up her sleeve or that is how it is supposed to me?

I finally finished this mammoth of a book in 366 days. Yes, 366 days, which is a huge yikes. Usually I’m better than that, but there are three reasons why it took so long. I did not want this series to end, I was spoiled by some major things and wanted time to take away from the book so I could feel the emotions I needed to when it came to those spoilers, and I have this horrible problem that I stop books I love to read new books I just got and it becomes an endless cycle. With the last one I’m making a goal in 2020 to stop doing that and finish my in progress books.
Anyway, Kingdom of Ash has my favorite cover out of the whole series. I love the gold and how Aelin looks. It’s just beautiful.
Now, for the story line. This book is 980 pages and we are seeing the consequences of what happened from Throne of Glass, which is a 3 year span I believe. We are finally at the war and for Aelin to pay the past of her ancestors mistakes. Will she live? Will she survive? What about her friends fate?
There was a lot of bittersweet moments, heartbreaking moments, and beautiful moments out of this whole book. I felt like there were some really good quotes that came from both Aelin and Aedion.
I have to say this one out of the series made it out high on favorites out of the series.
The book wraps up nicely and satisfying, but I do feel like there are several loose strings that Sarah can go back and tie up in a future novella or something.

Four Queens rule the land-each for a quadrant. However, each one is at risk at dying by the hand of an assassin. Who is it and why?
First of all, I love the cover. Second, I really wished I read Four Dead Queens sooner. It has fantasy elements with a mystery to it. It’s told through all 4 queens and our main character Keralie as she races to the palace to help find the assassin since she has taken a comm chip (people’s recorded memories) to tell the authorities what happened. There were a lot of twist and turns throughout the book and a few I never guessed. The world building and character development was very well done. If you love fantasy and mysteries, then this is a must read!

No one has any idea how excited that I got accepted for an arc on Netgalley. So, I thank you Netgalley and Crown Books for the opportunity to read Nameless Queen prior to publication. This review is an honest review.
I am a sucker for anything with royalty in it, so this book was right up my alley. It sucked me in from the beginning and interested me about the caste system. I did dock a star because I didn’t feel like the caste system and world building were built that well, but you can somewhat understand it still.
We start off with a dying king and him giving the name of his heir. The only problem is that his heir is Nameless and it is impossible. Coin, the Nameless heir has two options: accept it or run. But, with the way events turn out she accepts it and at first people of skeptical. They do not want a Nameless Queen, it is impossible. She must do what the Royal Council says, but will she?
I definitely recommend Nameless Queen. It’s fast and engaging. Coin reminds me a lot of Celaena from Throne of Glass with her wit and cunning tongue. Pick this up, you will not regret it.

That was such a ride and I felt like I was going crazy over this plot line! Now, I want you all to imagine your husband having two other wives. How’s would you feel? Will you get jealous and know their identities? What happens if you befriend one and notice bruises on her? Do you know your husband? Is this real or are you crazy? This book was plotted well and she makes you believe what is going on. I was on the edge of my seat. A must read!
