Four Dead Queens
by Astrid Scholte
Four Queens rule the land-each for a quadrant. However, each one is at risk at dying by the hand of an assassin. Who is it and why?
First of all, I love the cover. Second, I really wished I read Four Dead Queens sooner. It has fantasy elements with a mystery to it. It’s told through all 4 queens and our main character Keralie as she races to the palace to help find the assassin since she has taken a comm chip (people’s recorded memories) to tell the authorities what happened. There were a lot of twist and turns throughout the book and a few I never guessed. The world building and character development was very well done. If you love fantasy and mysteries, then this is a must read!
