Genuinely interesting premise ruined by abysmal writing. It seriously reads like a 14 year old wrote it trying to be edgy and melodramatic. Really disappointing especially given all the hype around this book. And genuinely the worst written female characters I’ve read in the past 5 years.
Very creepy story but I was really disappointed when it took a supernatural twist. And by the major plot twist of the novel. First quarter of the book was great though.
An interesting look at the neuroscience behind mental health issues and trauma. Trauma has become such a meaningless buzzword lately and this book is a good reminder of what trauma actually is and does to a person. Some of it was kind of repetitive but I really liked the dialogue style of presenting information. The audiobook was really well produced! I enjoyed it because I was just interested in that neuroscience aspect, but if you're looking for advice on how to actually heal from trauma, this is not the book for you. It is literally just a conversation, not a self help book.

This worked so well for me as a YA horror. I love it when YA isn’t afraid to go dark with the endings. Would make a good read for the fall.
Very comprehensive and a great intro to Zero Waste, if a little outdated. I loved that it emphasized doing what you can rather than being perfect.
