This is the last book in the series and is very small. A novella with few pages of fun. There's isn't much mystery and no murder. It's like a longer epilogue to the entire series.
Overall I enjoyed reading these books even if I wanted to knock some sense into the leads.
My favorite characters are Portia, Morag, and Aquinas.

I like these paranormal abilities stuff written by Jayne/Amanda Q. This book was okay. I could easily keep guessing the next parts of the story, which meant it wasn't that gripping. One good thing was that the hero had a scar on his face and an injured leg, so at least he wasn't perfect. I'm coming hate perfect heroes and heroines. Urgh!
The female lead, definitely sensible, and strong. Her decision-making skills were decent. I liked her, but I'm not sure if I want to reread this book. It's a tad boring compared to the other works of hers.

I am on a spree here, reading the entire series (I haven't got two novellas though).
This book was nice. Fluer, as ever in her straightforward manner advised the couple about their constant tiff.
I saw a different Julia here and I liked her, most of the time anyway. Seems like her stupidity is ingrained. Portia, now I haven't written much about her, but she has no illusions about anything. She is blunt when she tells that they were brought up to be useless and decorative.
The butler is definitely one of the best characters of the series along with Morag.
Emotions were much easier in this book and I felt bad for both of them in the end.
Poor Plum, he has real bad luck when it comes to love.

After reading almost 1700 odd pages, this was was over in less than two hours.
It is a small novella which occurs in the March house in January. The story spans three days at the max.
One new character I loved was the little girl, Julia's niece. We get to see the soft side of Morag again (after the doggie bit in book 3).
The confusion of Julia was different from the usual yearning of the ladies belonging to that era. (no spoilers)
One more to go and I'll be done with the series.

This is a small story that finished almost as soon as it started. It dealt basically with missing little toes and the medical conditions, half of which I have no idea about.
Not as interesting as I'd have liked, but there's always another book to read. :)

I should have read the first two books before coming to this, but it was a decent read.
I knew I read this before. It wasn't until I checked the list that I remembered. In 2016, I read this one. Yet, I did not remember who the culprit was!
I absolutely love Christie and this book is no exception. Poirot doesn't have much to play expect in the second half.
So we miss his OCD and love for hot chocolate. :P
Coming to the story, it has the lists of suspects, non-suspects, and murderers. Each character is sketched clearly with their quirks. (I love how she does it)
It wasn't until I was halfway into the book that I realized that one of my characters for a short story was influenced by the famous child-like woman characters Christie uses in her works.

This book, I totally enjoyed reading. I finished it in one sitting in less than two hours. There is magic, mystery, a cat, some light romance that doesn't seem out of place, and finally a happy ending.
With all my favorites in one place, the book definitely made it to the list.
The climax fight had the heroine at a disadvantage, but I guess that's okay. She really wasn't in a position to do much.
The narration is light and easy to read, with humor and emotions thrown in with a balance.

As the first book in the series, this makes a great entry. There wasn't much in the way of suspense or mystery for me but it was how the MC had got a shock after another made it a good read. I was glad she finally went to Hattie, the only person who understood her in many ways.
Almost every character has flaws, and that made the book relatable.
Personally, I loved Hattie more than Harper. She might be my favorite character in this series.
