I am on a spree here, reading the entire series (I haven't got two novellas though).
This book was nice. Fluer, as ever in her straightforward manner advised the couple about their constant tiff.
I saw a different Julia here and I liked her, most of the time anyway. Seems like her stupidity is ingrained. Portia, now I haven't written much about her, but she has no illusions about anything. She is blunt when she tells that they were brought up to be useless and decorative.
The butler is definitely one of the best characters of the series along with Morag.
Emotions were much easier in this book and I felt bad for both of them in the end.
Poor Plum, he has real bad luck when it comes to love.
