Harper's Folly:
by Stacy M. Jones
As the first book in the series, this makes a great entry. There wasn't much in the way of suspense or mystery for me but it was how the MC had got a shock after another made it a good read. I was glad she finally went to Hattie, the only person who understood her in many ways.
Almost every character has flaws, and that made the book relatable.
Personally, I loved Hattie more than Harper. She might be my favorite character in this series.
