srivalli 's review for:
Taken at the Flood
by Agatha Christie
I knew I read this before. It wasn't until I checked the list that I remembered. In 2016, I read this one. Yet, I did not remember who the culprit was!
I absolutely love Christie and this book is no exception. Poirot doesn't have much to play expect in the second half.
So we miss his OCD and love for hot chocolate. :P
Coming to the story, it has the lists of suspects, non-suspects, and murderers. Each character is sketched clearly with their quirks. (I love how she does it)
It wasn't until I was halfway into the book that I realized that one of my characters for a short story was influenced by the famous child-like woman characters Christie uses in her works.
