Such a page turner! I loved getting back to Wilde who I felt was more rounded out as a character in this book than his previous The Boy From The Woods.

So because Wilde knows nothing about why he was left in the woods (but brief, not making sense flashes of memory) and in the hope of d finding his mother and father update his DNA to a site. He gets a match but whoever matches him quickly deletes his info.  Wilde can't let it go and hat to find out who it is and what they know.

Throw in a crazy reality show, a vigilante group that meets out punishment as they see fit, and trust after twist..... This book was a wild ride.
The reveal of a killer shocked me but it really shouldn't have.

Easily read in about an hour, we get the backstory to see how Amber from The Last Mrs. Parrish started her scheming ways!

She is so conniving and great in her execution of her cons. She knows how to read most people and get them to see her in an awesome light.

I really like that Daisy at the end doesn't fall for anything about Amber and I was smiling at the justice done to Amber at the end. Though knowing she was just going to move onto her  next target to the next book makes it bittersweet.

London is a great pediatric surgeon. She also has a major need to be the best. Her "goal" from her friends Samiah and Taylor is to get laid!

Drew is her arch nemesis from high school and they fall into their old pattern at their HS 20 year reunion. He's here to try and save her hospital from being sold to a private held company. He's also perfect for London's goal.

So they decide they can hookup but that's it for the time that Drew is in town.

I love the competition and the banter between these two. It can be explosive but it feels so real for how long they've known each other. I feel we get the bedroom scenes a lot faster in this book because that what the title is about.
I really liked that Location ripped into her narcissistic father. He's a real winner 🙄

I also just love the 3 ladies so much! London, Samiah, and Taylor got so close so fast and I'm jealous of that type of easy friendship! They just push each other to be the best they can be and it's funny and adorable and heartwarming.

This was my first book by this duo but it was a FANTASTIC one!

Kate's back to her family ancestral home when her mom dies and she inherits it. She hasn't been back for 18 years because her sister disappeared back then and Kate can't remember much.

I absolutely love that every chapter starts with a part of Hansel + Gretel and it really lent itself to what was going to come in that chapter.

I love how Villa Magda was a living, breathing (of course figuratively) entity on its own. It knew all the secrets. It was creepy as all get out and I loved (except one thing) seeing what happened there while Kate, family and friends resided there.

Alice. That's all I can say. Alice. People have to read it for themselves. Such a selling point for me in this book!

I was surprised at the ending and of the "who done it all". I started to suspect a little, tiny bit but was still shocked.

Beautiful book that shows us a lot of awesome parts of Taiwan! We follow Kai and her sister Ami as they fly to a dance show where Ami is the star. Kai is nervous but Ami helps her along the way by having her try things out.
When Ami hurts her foot, Kai has to take over the show!

I love that this is a simple story that tells anyone that they can do hard things if they only try!

The message from the author at the back of the book has a lot of interesting facts about butterflies and Taiwan. The illustrations in here are breathtakingly stunning!

Augusta is fed up with being a tour guide at an old Salem jail and finds a job working at the Harlow House museum. She discovers a little known about Harlow, Margaret. There is hardly any records of her and no birth or death certificates. Augusta starts to try and find the mystery of Margaret.

We get to see the past and the present in dual timelines. We see Margaret as she dabbles with dark magic though the townfolk see her as a healer.

This still had the very Gothic feel that Fox is known for. You have to suspend belief near the end as these two worlds dangerously collide.
The ending was a little bit of a disappointment to me as I wish we got to see more of what Margaret could do in the present.

This way a sweet story that I am happy to pass onto my kids.

Kees is a typical 5th grader except that he has trouble with language (dyslexia). He gets having to read out loud, to write paragraphs, and to do spelling tests.

When he goes a prank too far, his principal makes him write a 2 page paper on "the hardest thing he's ever done" in 2 weeks! This makes him panic as he knows it will be too hard for him to do.

I really like how he explains how his brain works. He calls it an Apple brain and that because, like an Android code can't work for an Apple phone, it doesn't process this like the other kids.

Way to put a fabulous neurodiverse kid at the center of this story!

After hooking up with Zander at her best friend's wedding , Imani hosts him. But they come back into each other's lives as Imani comes to help get grandmother through a knee surgery.

Oh how I love Zander and Imani!

They both have issues that they need to work out in their life but I love that they find the support in each other. Zander is understanding and so helpful especially as Imani is helping her grandmother.

The hot air balloon scene is so fun and then it gets a bit steamy. I was laughibg the whole time because I knew someone might interrupt them!

I love getting to see more of Kate and Imani's friendship. They way they are so comfortable with each other since they've known each other most of their lives.

This was a third installment in this series. There is some backstory that I feel I missed out on without reading books 1 or 2.

Eliza and Allen work for the British Crown as spies. Allen is in captivity by some Russian baddies at the beginning of the story and he gets rescued. But the danger follows him home. It's up to Eliza and Allen and some confidantes to figure it how to keep Allen safe.

This book is kind of non stop action but also at a slower pace. I like how all the different characters work with each other and trust each other. Even though I don't know much backstory, it was fun seeing Allen and Eliza fall in love (though Allen was already there)

The day that Ivy, Mateo, and Cal decide to ditch school (Ivy because she just lost an election to Brian "Boney" Mahoney and didn't want to hear his speech) is the day that they see Boney also not at school and he is killed.

Suspicion is immediately cast on Ivy from the kids at school because of a rumor that a blonde person may have killed him.... And Ivy is blonde.

This book just keeps its momentum up throughout the whole thing. I hated that the school just jumped to the conclusion that "Ivy did it" when there are such bigger parts at play than a girl that just didn't happen to be at school.

The only reason I didn't give this a 4 star was the ending. It felt a bit abrupt even though something is revealed that COULD make for a sequel.
