Trish has hooked my heart and SOUL into this world!😍 I cannot get enough of Saffron and Hermes. I love Poseidon's personality, and Hattie is the best friend you could ever have. I need the next book! I need to know what happens with Styx😩 Hurry up June!

I fell in love with this book, and each page just got better and better! I love how the author told us back stories for each new character without it turning boring or into rambling. 
I read the synopsis when I first put it on my TBR, but other than knowing it was a Greek god retelling, I went in pretty blind. My heart was pulled in two different directions with Epiales, the storyteller, and Lord Hermes at first. I honestly didn't know who to root for!

Even at the end, I'm still hoping Epiales redeems himself. Everything that he went through because he loved his nephew reminds me of everything that Saffron is doing to give her loved ones freedom. Its such a grey area that I'm holding out hope he goes against Kronos.

I already want to reread Ichor. I'm so obsessed with the world and the characters Trish created💕

Ahhhhh!! I need the next book now😩 This was even better than the first one! I love how everything and everyone is connected in some way. All of the centuries long secrets slowly being unraveled. Is Brann really dead? Who or what is Estrella? Who was that guy she saw when she died for a few minutes? So many questions! This is definitely one of my favorite series now. 

This was such a page turner! I couldn't get enough of Liana and Callum🖤 There's fated mates, hidden kingdoms, tyranny, betrayal, family bonds being mended, and justice being served!

Liana is the heir to Vanhal, a kingdom that has fallen into poverty. The only way to pay back her kingdoms debts is to marry a rich Lord whose family owns the largest trading company. Liana believes duty always comes first, and that love will always be the downfall of people.
Callum is the Fae prince of the Lost Kingdom, Stargard, which vanished over a century ago from Liana's world. I couldn't put A Shimmer Between down! I'm so excited to read more about this world, Liana & Callum, Penelope, Eima, Rose, Aingil, and Rainan! I'm so invested in everyone, even Tamryn, being the sweet, sassy, motherly figure she is🥰 I thought Stargard was beautiful and Liana is a total bad-ass. She never once stopped trying to do right by her people, and became the kick-ass Queen I knew she'd become! This is definitely going in "favorites-of-all-time"!!

I'm screaming right now!! This is my second read of the book, and it was SO much better without the book slump hanging over my head!
The world and character building were so good. I was constantly flipping back and forth to the map to follow the path Estrella took through the woods and mountains.

Estrella's blind love for Caelum was spot on for young love when you never knew more than that physical connection, and someone comes along and shows you that there is more to affection than that

Brann's motives are still a mystery to me and something I hope is addressed in the second book of the series because I was constantly thinking back to it and wondering if he knew the whole time who Estrella was meant for or was it just the fear of being Marked itself. This was such a good book and I can't wait to dive into the next one in the series🖤

The only reason that I didn't rate this 5☆ is because of how slow paced the first 60%-70% is. It took me a long time to get through that first bit since there is so much world and character building, but it was definitely worth it!  I love Tissaanah's resolve in protecting everyone she cares for, Max's reclusive, trust no one attitude, Nura's complex reasoning for doing anything that she does, and Sam's loyalty no matter what. This was such a good read and while I'm definitely going to need a buffer before I dive into the next book, I'm so glad I didn't dnf it. The world building is next level😍
