I'm screaming right now!! This is my second read of the book, and it was SO much better without the book slump hanging over my head!
The world and character building were so good. I was constantly flipping back and forth to the map to follow the path Estrella took through the woods and mountains.

Estrella's blind love for Caelum was spot on for young love when you never knew more than that physical connection, and someone comes along and shows you that there is more to affection than that

Brann's motives are still a mystery to me and something I hope is addressed in the second book of the series because I was constantly thinking back to it and wondering if he knew the whole time who Estrella was meant for or was it just the fear of being Marked itself. This was such a good book and I can't wait to dive into the next one in the series🖤
