Built is the first in The Saints of Denver series, - a spin off from the Marked Men series.
I have been curious about Zeb Fuller since we quickly met him in Rowdy, and I have to tell you, I was not disappointed with his story.
In fact, don't tell him, but I think Nash has a bit of competition for my affections!
From the cover, you can tell that Zeb is some kind of builder. But it is not just houses that he builds, oh no, there is so much more to him than that. So much more behind the sexy beard and tattoos.
Sayer - remember her, Rowdy's sister - she is now living in Denver, and has had a thing for Zeb since.. well since she met him. But she has walls around her heart, is pretty much emotionally shut down, everyone thinks she is an ice queen.
I could understand why Sayer was the way she was, but man oh man at times it made her hard to like - but I like that too. I like when an author gives us a character that frustrates me, makes them not all loveable or even likeable.
There is also a little something that sends this story in a direction that that I was not expecting - but wow what a direction it was!
I loved that we got little bits about the Marked boys and their ladies, and hope that we get more snippets about them as the series continues.
Now I can't wait for the next in the series.

This is the 3rd Alpha Heroes book, but all are stand alone.
I have enjoyed the previous books in this series, so it was a no brainer to read In Deep With The FBI Agent.
Sam Cooper, FBI computer analyst, has been in love with Casey Cooper - no relation, because that would be like, eeew! - since freshman year at high school.

A decade later, their worlds have been thrown together again due to work.
I loved how Sam wasn't shy about going for what he wanted, what he has always wanted. Casey at times I felt to still be closed off, a little mean spirited towards Sam, but as we got to know more of her, their history, I could kind of understand a bit why she acted the way she did.
then again, why wouldn't she want a sexy, hot FBI guy? I'll take him if she doesn't want him!
There was a bit of mystery throughout the book that Sam is working on figuring out, all the while trying to keep his "one" safe.. and satisfied!
Sam and Casey have off the charts chemistry, and we get some smoking hot sexy times!
I enjoy Ms Silver's writing. She draws me in, and keeps me wanting more.
I hope we get more of the Alpha Heroes series. If not, I look forward to what she brings us next.

I have loved the Manhattanites series by Avery Aster, and Jemma, Rocco and Luigi's poly relationship was one that I was really looking forward to .
But to me, it fell flat. It fell short of what I have come to expect from an Avery Aster book.
It didn't have the heat, the sexiness, the steam of the previous Manhattanites books, and it left me wanting.
I did enjoy Jemma's journey that was taken throughout the book, but at times I felt that there was so much more that we could have had, so much more that we could have gotten to know about this adorable trio. So much more we could have gotten if we did not hit "The End" at 57% of the book!
So while Unconventional did fall short for me, it might be the perfect quick read for you.
This slight misstep in the series however, will not deter me from reading more by Ms Aster in the future.

What a sweet and sexy quick read.... with a twist in the tale! I knew there was something did with Barrett but was not expecting that!
Straight on to Taste for me!

A new series from Belle Aurora - woohoo!
I have loved the Leokov guys from the Friend-Zones series, so to get more of them - their cousins - is just an added bonus!
Lev Leokov is smart, sexy, successful - and although not broken, a little bent. He is a bit of an enigma, not just to the reader but to those around him.
Mina Harris is at wits end - homeless, penniless, starving. She is a tiny mouse of a woman.
Desperate times mean desperate measures, and those desperate measure bring Lev and Mina together.
I adored the protective side coming out in Lev. So not how you are expecting him to be. I was expecting a gruff, harsh kind of guy, but right from the start there was none of that to be seen. Yeah, he broods, but that is kind of sexy.
In fact, he is kind of swoonworthy.
Mina blossoms under Lev's protection. Her wit and sassiness come to the fore more and more - and LOVE that she doesn't take any crap from anyone - especially Lev's brother Sasha.
But Lev grows too. We see him come out of his self imposed bubble that even his family has not been able to get him out of. He says he can't love, but his actions tell so much more than his words ever could.
There is some underworld action in Lev too, some mystery and intrigue that kept me wondering what would be revealed next.
There are some fantastic secondary characters - Lev's brother and sister Sasha (who has his moments when I wanted to throat punch him) and his sister Nas. Through it all, family is family, and family comes first.
Lev is a wonderful, face paced read that I did not want to put down once I started.
Ms Aurora has never disappointed me yet.
Now, hopefully we will get more soon, as there were some things setting up in this book that are hopefully leading into more.
Please tell us there is more Ms Aurora

Oh yeah, back to The Silo we go!
Timbeeeerrrrrrrrr!!! Hear that sound? That's the sound of Cain falling for Sloane - and he falls hard!
He is a mountain of a man - ex military, kinky, sexy and scarred - ladies love the scars! Loves the perks of the job at The Silo... until Sloane.
Right from the get go you could feel the pull, the sexual chemistry between Cain and Sloane, and you could feel Cain's attraction to Sloane, more than sex, just ... more.
Of course we can't have things going smoothly, and when a huge roadblock is thrown up between our lovelies, I knew it was going to take some getting over.
Getting over (or under!) each other or their issues had me running the whole gamut of emotions. I was angry, hurt, sad for our couple. They need to get things right, they just do!
Wicked Lust is a sexy, sexy book that starts with a bang and takes us on one heck of a ride.... now can't wait for Logan or Rand's stories, but especially Bridger's. Me thinks it is going to take quite a lady.. or man.. or both... to bring him to his knees, and I can't wait!

Do you remember you first love? Were they your one? Do you know where they are now?
These were some of the things I thought about as I read Snack.
Snack had the nerd girl in my hooked right from the start with Star Wars/Harry Potter references.
Then my heart was captured as we heart Minnie and Snack's story, switching between present day and flashbacks to them growing up together.
I adored Minnie from the time we meet the 6 year old girl to the sweet, loving but a little bit foul-mouthed woman today.
At times I both loved and hated the characters as events unfolded. So many conflicting emotions, both for me and our lovelies. This book could have been called "Bad Timing" for all the almost-but-not-quite times they coulda/shoulda/woulda been together.
There is a sweetness overload with Snack. From hamsters to chihauhas, adorably cute kids and the love between Snack and Minnie, my heart was just filled with hope for this "couple".
But, is this really THE END???
If you are looking for a sweet, fun and sexy read, then Snack is the book for you.
PS: I will never look at my electric toothbrush the same again!

Lilliana Anderson has done it again!
In The Wind is a beautiful, but at times gut wrenching and heart breaking story of growing up. Of love, of loss, of wanting to fit in. Of sexual awakenings, of finding out who you really are, and of who your friends really are.
Dawn Tucker - I could relate to her well. I had my friends, but didn't fit in with the "cool kids". Though looking back, that's not a bad thing at all!
Dawn and Zeke have been inseparable for years - until one day a fresh breath of air blows into Hargraves Cove, in the shape of Shea.
Right from the start, I didn't know whether I liked Shea or not. And as the story progressed, there were many a times when I wanted to push her off a cliff! Seriously, the more we got to know the girl, the more I disliked her!
And Zeke - he broke my heart. A thoughtless, selfish boy that I wanted to nut punch.
You may have noted that Ms Anderson has brought out the violence in me with this one!
Then there is Luke. Sweet, beautiful Luke. I just wanted to lean over and whisper
I don't want to give anything away with what happens in the story, but I do want to say that I feel that everyone got what they deserved.
In The Wind is Dawn's beautiful story, but have some tissues handy, as I am sure you will tear up at least once while reading!

When I was approached by the author to read and review Winter, I had no idea what I was in for. I read so much, and if not for being asked, I probably would have missed this gem of a read - and that would have been my loss
Avery is such a strong female character, many a lesser woman (and even a man) would have crumbled under the pressures and stresses of what she has been through. I loved how she stuck it out, made a go of life despite what has happened.
Luke is sexy, sweet - how could you not fall in love with him?
There is a mystery that runs through the entire story of Winter, and you will be left wondering till the last what happened and who is responsible.
I was honestly
as things were revealed, I definitely had no idea who a couple of the people/things were going to be. And I really enjoyed that. I can usually get a bit of a gist as to who the baddies are and their motivations, but this time, I was completely blindsided!
Thank you Ms Rae, can't wait to read more, as I will definitely be seeking it our in the future!

This the 7th book in the SEALs series, and this has been my favourite!
Mack and Lydia's story had me enthralled from the first word to the last. I felt right from the start that theirs was going to be more than one night, and I loved being taken on their journey as they went from bar hookup to much much more.
Mack was just all that for me. Sexy, sweet, alpha all rolled into one hulking man. And I love how Mack's protective instincts go into overdrive the minute he meets Lydia.
Lydia has those self doubts that all of us deal with, and I loved how Mack wiped those doubts away for her.
And let's not forget the sexy times! The chemistry between our lovelies is off the charts, both in and out of the bedroom. You knew what they had was special - if only they would see it for themselves.
I really do adore this series. They are quick, sexy reads that leave you with a smile on your dial and love in your heart.
