When I was approached by the author to read and review Winter, I had no idea what I was in for. I read so much, and if not for being asked, I probably would have missed this gem of a read - and that would have been my loss

Avery is such a strong female character, many a lesser woman (and even a man) would have crumbled under the pressures and stresses of what she has been through. I loved how she stuck it out, made a go of life despite what has happened.

Luke is sexy, sweet - how could you not fall in love with him?

There is a mystery that runs through the entire story of Winter, and you will be left wondering till the last what happened and who is responsible.

as things were revealed, I definitely had no idea who a couple of the people/things were going to be. And I really enjoyed that. I can usually get a bit of a gist as to who the baddies are and their motivations, but this time, I was completely blindsided!

Thank you Ms Rae, can't wait to read more, as I will definitely be seeking it our in the future!
