I liked this book overall. There was some darker themes and content, but I think it was handled very well. I loved the exploration of sisterhood and friendship. The world building and magic system were really interesting. I wasn't a huge fan of the romance. It think the book would have been a bit better without it. I am definitely looking forward to the next installment in the series.

I adore this series, and this book did not disappoint. I adore these characters and the setting of Ashland, Oregon. The mystery was fantastic!
