While this wasn't quite the conclusion I was hoping for, it was still epic. I love that all the plot threads got a conclusion, and I loved spending more time with these characters.

This is based on real events, which made this book even more heartbreaking. From the beginning I was hooked by the atmospheric writing and Icelandic setting. The plot was captivating.

This book has some of the best world building I've read. Martine did a stunning job of incorporating linguistics and a complex culture into a sweeping plot. The audiobook was fantastic!
