This was a solid book, with an interesting, intriguing storyline.
I liked the secret society aspect, but I was confused at the ages of the characters, and whether this was supposed to be high school or college.
I’d also like it noted that you don’t run anything in for a goal in rugby, you kick one, or run in a try.
Just a warning that this book ends in a cliffhanger, so if it’s not your thing, you might want to wait!

I wanted to like this book. The description was right up my alley, but it fell way short for me.
The fashion and the descriptions were beautiful and so very rich, but it wasn’t enough.
The story needed more than just pretty dresses.
There was supposed to be romance, but I didn’t get that. Tristan and Emmy’s relationship happened because the blurb said it would. I didn’t see any chemistry and while Tristan is very sweet, the whole Sophie thing was unnecessary.
I was also confused with Emmy and her mother’s relationship. I didn’t get that they were close.
I also felt the “twists” were predictable, as was who was ultimately responsible. At times Emmy was too naive to be believable. Honestly, no one could be that dense.
As I said, I wanted to love this book but it fell so flat for me, sorry.

This is a solid book. I love the rockin’ country series, so I was excited to read the next generation.
I liked the similarities between the two and EJ and Bri are a great couple.
I do wish a little more happened in the middle of the book, and that more things were expanded, like the boat trip or when EJ gets sick. The middle part, that wasn’t on Wattpad felt a little light to me.
I also would’ve liked a little less mention of reaper and harmony. It started to get repetitive. We know they have a great love story. We know EJ’s the product of that. It doesn’t need to be repeated every time feelings are mentioned.
All in all, this is a solid book, a great couple, and I’m awaiting the next one!

DNF at 6%.
I was initially intrigued by the blurb of this book, but unfortunately I couldn’t get through it.
The writing is stilted and info dump-y and I couldn’t do it.
Sorry!

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed seeing Levi heal, I liked getting to know phoebe.
I liked seeing the band grow and the feeling of family.
This is a great series, and I can’t wait for the following books!

I’m so torn about this book. I love Hawke but I’m not quite sure about some of the aspects of the book.
I’m also not a fan of all the details not being disclosed. I know that’s part of the fun, but I spent so much of the book trying to figure out why things were important and how they worked.
I think I will continue with this series, but it’s not a rave from me, just a solid, interesting read.

I enjoyed this book! It’s a good bully/enemies to lovers story with a heartbreaking backstory.
I loved both Calli and Zach’s stories, their pasts, their stories, their strengths, how they persevere.
I also liked the side characters, Josie, Brad and Xavier and jasmine as well.
I do wish there was a little more sport involved, but I can live with it.
This is a solid book which will give you all the feels! Give it a go!

This was a decent book. I love Hawke/Casteel and Poppy’s relationship. I loved watching it grow.
I love the relationship she has with other, Kieran, Jasper, Delano, Elijah.
But I did find this book a bit slow. I felt like it took until about 70, 75% for things to really pick up and get interesting. There was so much information in this book, so much theory that I felt it got bogged down. I guess it is necessary, especially after what happened in the first book, but I found it a bit much, and a bit confusing.
I also didn’t find it as smutty as so many people have said. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve read much smuttier books and this isn’t that close to them.
But I liked where this book, and series is going.
Is it my favourite or one of them? No, but it is a solid read and I will continue.

DNF at page 189.
I so wanted to love this book. The writing is in the same vein as V E Schwab’s the Invisible life of Addie Larue, which has my soul, but I just couldn’t get into this book.
I didn’t know what it was about, or how the stories all connected. I tried to go with it, but I couldn’t.
The stories are beautiful, and the tale intriguing but it’s just not for me. I feel like I may come back to it, but for the moment I’ll leave it.

I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it.
I liked this book. It was quick, it was sweet, it wasn't terribly over the top. I really loved the bits of humour that were sprinkled throughout the book, which helped it not to seem to ridiculous. A great, quick read, I highly recommend it!
