I love the tension in this book! It’s push and pull and give and take in all its goodness.
The relationship between Adrianna and Kova is complicated and I’m so conflicted because Hayden...
But it’s a great continuation of the story and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Wow! This book is intense! It’s taboo, it’s hot, it’s love and hate all wrapped up in one pretty little package.
Kova is an asshole (we know and accept this) and does push the limits of likeability but that’s what taboo books do, challenge.
And this book challenges plenty. If you’re not afraid to change the way you think, give this book a go!

This book really intrigued me from the blurb, and these sorts of books are my jam at the moment, but I was really frustrated with this book. All the events took place over one day. That’s it. And yeah, a fair bit happened, but I wanted more and i have no idea why it wasn’t included except for the fact that the author needed a way to ensure people kept reading this series, which they will anyway. But still, I don’t need to played like this and it really feels like I am.
Also, the constant issue of Raven becoming one of the four without any resolution was annoying as well.
Still, I’m intrigued by this book and series. The boys are hot, Hunter especially, and Raven is a solid character.
I’m torn between love and hate here, but I will continue with the series.

This was an okay book. I really like second chance romances but I felt this one way lacking something.
There was no drama, no angst, nothing that you usually associate with second chances.
I also felt everything happened so fast. I wanted room for things to breathe and develop without being skipped over.
I also felt the action was overly descriptive. So many things were told rather than shown or just let slip altogether.
I’m also going to confess I didn’t like the other books thing. It just seems like blatant promotion and that’s not what I want in a book.
All in all this is an okay book. It’s not terrible, but I also feel it doesn’t have the spark I was looking for, sorry.

I LOVED this book! I love M/M books and i have a fascination with cults so this was like, the best combination ever!
Josh and Caleb are amazing.
Getting to see the world through their eyes was a job well done by Sarina. There were light moments, there were dark moments, there were sad moments, but the love these two have for each other is beautiful.
I loved seeing how these two developed as well as the touches of Sarina’s humour that’s sprinkled throughout the book.
This book is incredible and one of my favourites, I HIGHLY recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book! I’ve read one of this series (or the sister series, I’m not sure) and I liked what I read there and that is no different here.
This book is beautifully heartbreaking. Eli is so beautifully broken that you can’t help fall in love with him.
Ophelia is so strong that you can’t help but admire her.
Together they’re a match made in literary perfection.
The pain in this book is palpable and I loved it, as weird as that sounds.
One thing that did detract for me, was the crossover characters. There’s a lot of them and they were confusing and a little bit distracting for me. But if you had read both series I could tell this would be great for you.
Even still, this is a great book. It’s not a light read, it does have angst, but if that’s your thing give it a go!

Wow! This book is a lot. It’s heart wrenching and a little bit disturbing and kind of beautiful.
Like all of Kate’s books, it’s heavy but dealt with a lightness you come to expect.
Lucas is so beautifully broken.
Mila is so strong.
Together it’s beautifully heart wrenching.
I have to admit though, I did find it a bit hard to follow at times with the time shifts. Sometimes they’re not labeled and it’s a little bit difficult to figure out if it’s then or now. But, it’s a small complaint.

I really enjoyed this book! I love second chance books and although this wasn’t set out as a second chance story, it a good one.
I enjoyed Cody in the previous books and it was great to read his story. He’s strong, he’s funny, and he’s a great character.
Bertie is a great character to read as is little Cody.
There’s great drama here as well as some touching moments.
One thing that did bug me was Bertie’s change of feelings. I thought it was a little too easy and a little too early. If it had been allowed to linger a little bit it would’ve built up the angst just a tad bit more, which I felt it needed.
Still, it’s a solid, quick read, give it a go!

DNF at 8%.
I didn’t get this book. It was confusing to me and I just didn’t get it. Why is it set so far in the past? Tweetie would be 50 today. I strongly believe this book is set before most of its readers were born.
Also, while we’re on the subject of Tweetie, Tweety bird (whom the character is named after) is spelt TweetY, not ie. I don’t know if this is a deliberate choice, but if so, I’d rethink it as I don’t think I’ll be the only one to pick up on this typo.
It’s possible that if I had read this book further, I’d get a better understanding, but frankly, it didn’t hold my attention. I was really looking forward to reading this book, especially with it’s extreme sport subject matter, but I just couldn’t do it, sorry.

I read this as March’s ultimate reading challenge, a fantasy read.
I went back and forth on the rating for this book so many times! In the end, I did really enjoy it, but I can understand why people won’t like it or will DNF it.
It IS slow to start. There’s a lot of information, the names are very similar and hard to pronounce. I would suggest here moving the glossary from the back of the book to the start. I wasn’t really a fan of the history retellings, even though I know they are useful to the story. It makes the book a bit of hard work and too much like Furyborn, which I also struggled with.
I also don’t really understand what the characters motivations are or where the story is going. It’s more a story you read, not one you experience. You see what the characters are doing but you don’t feel involved.
All this being said, I did really enjoy it. I loved the relationships between the animals and the animages.
I also like the human relationships, especially Sev and Kade. The light touch of romance is good, but I do expect it to be ramped up in the next book(s).
All in all, I think this is a book which will divide opinion. I enjoyed it, but I know it’s not going to be for everyone.
