I really enjoyed this book! I love second chance books and although this wasn’t set out as a second chance story, it a good one.
I enjoyed Cody in the previous books and it was great to read his story. He’s strong, he’s funny, and he’s a great character.
Bertie is a great character to read as is little Cody.
There’s great drama here as well as some touching moments.
One thing that did bug me was Bertie’s change of feelings. I thought it was a little too easy and a little too early. If it had been allowed to linger a little bit it would’ve built up the angst just a tad bit more, which I felt it needed.
Still, it’s a solid, quick read, give it a go!
