This was an okay book. I really like second chance romances but I felt this one way lacking something.
There was no drama, no angst, nothing that you usually associate with second chances.
I also felt everything happened so fast. I wanted room for things to breathe and develop without being skipped over.
I also felt the action was overly descriptive. So many things were told rather than shown or just let slip altogether.
I’m also going to confess I didn’t like the other books thing. It just seems like blatant promotion and that’s not what I want in a book.
All in all this is an okay book. It’s not terrible, but I also feel it doesn’t have the spark I was looking for, sorry.
