I absolutely loved this book. I loved the first one and this is the perfect follow on.
Reese is his Hot best. Dylan is her sassy best. Joey is fantastic self and Brooke is a great addition.

I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it.

Oh. My. God. What did I just read? Seriously, I have no idea! I love this book, even though I want to hate it because it raised more questions than it answered. And my god, the stuff that happens! Strap yourselves in and go for a ride 'cause it's one for sure!
There is so much happening in this book and I'm still not entirely sure I caught all of it, all I know is Bishop is incredible and Maddy is bad arse!
I would definitely recommend rereading The Silver Swan before reading this so everything is fresh, but again, run, don't walk to get this book! The next one can't come soon enough!

Edited 2019.
So I reread this book so it’s fresh for Malum’s release. I’m sorry to say it doesn’t get better a second time around. The editing is all over the place. There’s a lot of instances where one thing will be said, only for a couple of chapters later, it to be contradicted.
Also, the constant mention of songs, you don’t have to be hip, scalding hot showers, and “beeping” open cars really does grate.
Still, I enjoy the concept of this series, and will continue to read it.

3.5 stars

This was my first book by Amali Rose and it was a solid read. I liked the characters as well the supporting cast, even if they weren’t easy to follow if you’ve never read one of previous books.
The one thing that did bother me was the lack of transparency about Wyatt’s feelings. We never really are given detail on why she does what she does. To me, it was lacking and caused a bit of a disconnect.
The other issue was that the twist at the end was too predictable.
Otherwise, I enjoyed this book. Wyatt and Flynn are a great couple, give it a go!

I liked this book. It was a quick, sweet read.
Ash is a lovable, single father, who is doing his best t raise his daughter, Sydney, who’s a gem.
Emma is charming, a little sassy, and knows what she wants.
Together, they’re a great couple. I would have liked to have seen a little more of them as a couple in the latter stages of the book. I think it moved really fast from first date to the Bridge incident.
Still, it’s an enjoyable read, which I think contemporary romance fans will like, give it a go!

4.5 stars.

Holy mind fuck! This book was not what I was expecting and at the same time it was everything I was expecting. I loved this book, even if at times it was super frustrating! I loved reading Nate and Tillie’s story (part 1). I loved being back in this world and I do recommend you reread the previous books before reading this one. There’s a lot of stuff going on and I can’t wait for it to all play out.
There are a few continuity issues, as well as a small sense of things being made up as they go along, but with a series this involved I realise it’s a big project.
I don’t think it’s as dark as claimed, I’m not a dark reader and this didn’t phase me one bit, but it’s definitely not going to be everyone’s cup of tea.
Still, can’t wait for the next book!

I loved this book! I think it’s the most Randi book I’ve ever read of hers. It’s tough, it’s snarky, it’s sexy, it’s meaningful and you need this in your life!
Chloe is a complex character, but she’s still kickarse. She knows what she wants and she’s going to get it!
Locke is hot and dominating, everything you want in alpha male. Together they set the pages on fire!
Third person isn’t my usual go-to, but Randi does it so effortlessly you don’t even notice.
Rush, don’t dawdle to get this in your life!

This was a solid book. It’s true to Kaylee’s style and formula but I felt there was something missing. Maybe it was because I felt things took a little too long to develop and most of the action happened at the end of the book, but still, it was something.
Blaine is a great character. I liked seeing his transformation.
Aubree was at times a little bit of a wet blanket, but she was still solid.
The supporting cast was solid too, but I think this needed a spark to set it on fire.

This was an okay book.
To be honest, I think it could do with a really good edit. I felt like it was all over the place. There was a heap of awkward language and phrasing and towards the end, things get really messy and end up contradicting themselves.
Trevor is an okay character. Basically your typical hockey man Whore.
Lauren is your typical single mum.
I did like Colt, Nathan and Mia but they’re confusing as to where their stories will go, because it’s obvious there will be books for them.
My main issue is from where Scott comes into the book. The first issue with him was solved too easily, especially given all the fuss he made in the first place.
Then after his storyline ended, it didn’t make sense what Lauren’s reaction was. She then turns around after a few chapters and contradicts what she says earlier.
All in all, this isn’t a great book and I would give it a miss, sorry.

I LOVED this book! I’ve never read anything from this author before, and I’m not entirely sure why I signed up to promote this book but I’m SO glad I did!
The passion the characters have come through, as do their feelings. I love the one-liners as well as the deep thoughts. The supporting cast are awesome and I can’t wait for their books! Dallas and Brock in particular. I’d love to see Owen’s as well.
One thing I will say is at times it seems like this isn’t the first book in the series and prior knowledge of the characters has been imparted somewhere else. But it’s a very small complaint in what is an incredible book! Grab a copy now!

4.5 stars.

Holy wow! This isn’t my usual type of book at all, but I LOVED it! The feelings and emotions is evokes are on opposite ends of the spectrum and it’s curious and fascinating all at the same time.
Carter is a great character, if polarising. I can understand why people wouldn’t like him, but I love him!
Zoey is great as well. I love how she stands up for herself and lets Carter know what she wants.

A few small complaints I have are the overuse of the word literally and legitimately. I also think the “everyday” action is a little rushed and at times I thought the storyline dragged a little bit.
One more small thing, I think the language choices weren’t fitting with the characters age and the epilogue sounded like it was three or four years into the future, rather than one.

Still, these are tiny complaints. I loved this book. It’s not for everyone. It’s dark and confronting so please be aware if you have triggers.
