Holy mind fuck! This book was not what I was expecting and at the same time it was everything I was expecting. I loved this book, even if at times it was super frustrating! I loved reading Nate and Tillie’s story (part 1). I loved being back in this world and I do recommend you reread the previous books before reading this one. There’s a lot of stuff going on and I can’t wait for it to all play out.
There are a few continuity issues, as well as a small sense of things being made up as they go along, but with a series this involved I realise it’s a big project.
I don’t think it’s as dark as claimed, I’m not a dark reader and this didn’t phase me one bit, but it’s definitely not going to be everyone’s cup of tea.
Still, can’t wait for the next book!
