This was an okay book.
To be honest, I think it could do with a really good edit. I felt like it was all over the place. There was a heap of awkward language and phrasing and towards the end, things get really messy and end up contradicting themselves.
Trevor is an okay character. Basically your typical hockey man Whore.
Lauren is your typical single mum.
I did like Colt, Nathan and Mia but they’re confusing as to where their stories will go, because it’s obvious there will be books for them.
My main issue is from where Scott comes into the book. The first issue with him was solved too easily, especially given all the fuss he made in the first place.
Then after his storyline ended, it didn’t make sense what Lauren’s reaction was. She then turns around after a few chapters and contradicts what she says earlier.
All in all, this isn’t a great book and I would give it a miss, sorry.
