I really enjoyed this book. I’ve been waiting for Lotus and Keenan’s story since the start of this series and it didn’t disappoint.
I loved Lotus. She’s so strong and even in print, has a presence about her. I loved the voodoo stuff.
Keenan is awesome, a strong introvert that i loved reading about.

There are sensitive issues discussed here so if you’re sensitive please be aware, but a great read!

This was an okay book. I liked the love between Tor and Kenzi. I felt it was authentic and wasn’t at all creepy. It was a great love story.
Where this fell down for me was the supporting characters. I really disliked pretty much every one of them. They were horrible and said horrible things but they were just allowed to skate by.
I also don’t know what took so long at the end. A whole year? It seemed so impossible to me, especially given Tor and Kenzi’s relationship.
As I said, this was an okay book. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it might be for someone else.

4.5 stars.

Gah! This book was SO close to 5 stars for me! Mature YA is my jam and this book was right up my alley!
I loved Mason and Erin. They’re great and the things they endure... it’s true and it’s real. I loved that about this book, that it didn’t hide the things that do go on, that do happen.
Where it fell down for me was it felt rushed. I’d love to see everything more fleshed out. I felt things turned too quickly or were kind of swept over when they should’ve been given the time and attention they deserve. There’s a lot of real in this book and it needs to be given time to breathe, to develop, not just mentioned almost like it was on a list of “must include for high school dramas”.
I also think Scottie needs to be a bigger character. She kind of disappears in the middle of the book.
Also, the constant use of “erm” was incredibly distracting. I know what it was intending to show, but I think it was overused.
So, really close to 5 stars for me, with a little polish and a bit more depth it could’ve been an absolute must-read for me, but it is definitely something you should give a go.

P.S the cover is beautiful, even if it does have shades of Erin Watt in it.

This was a solid book. I liked the chemistry between Rhett and Mo and I liked their story. I liked how they found their way to each other and how they traversed the waters ahead of them.
What I didn’t like was the ending. It was so abrupt and to be honest, a little unsatisfying. I wanted SO much more and I felt like there was so much more to be given. To be honest, it has taken the shine off a solid book.
The cast of supporting characters is great but I feel like a breather between books might be needed, especially if it’s going to get a little incestuous with the group of friends. I’m also hoping there’s a book for Linc, because he’s great.
So, this is a solid book. Give it a go if second chances are your thing, but be warned the ending is abrupt.

I absolutely adore this series! Reaper and Harmony to me are a perfect couple, and Reaper is definitely one of my fav book boyfriends. I love how accessible they seem and down to earth. Definitely a fav book of mine!

This was a strange book for me. I liked Hollis and I liked Mia, but I felt there was a bit of a disconnect. I felt their ages, 25 and 22/23 respectively wasn’t how their characters, and situation, read. It felt more of a new adult (late teens, very early 20’s) feel, rather than this is straight contemporary. Further to that, I felt the sex and the kink (not much, don’t stress) didn’t fit with the characters either.
I was also a bit confused with the Hayes thing at the end. The bonus POV goes a way to explaining, but it still feels weird. I also would’ve liked to have seen a proper reconciliation.
I haven’t read the other willow creek books, so there was a tiny disconnect there too, and the addition of the Wentworth’s was too “incestuous” for me.

Still, it was an okay rockstar book, if a bit disconnected.

I loved this book! Trace is totally swoon worthy and Olivia is cute and sassy.
I love that this book is all about taking chances and not being afraid.
The supporting cast of characters is awesome as well. I liked the humour and drama and makes for a well rounded book.
Give it a go!

3.5 stars.

This was an okay book. I liked Daxton and Kailey was a strong, solid character.
This was more somber, serious, than Helena’s usual stuff I feel. I also felt like it was lacking a bit of life, something to spice it up a little.
Overall, it was a solid book but I don’t feel like it added something new to me, sorry.

I really like this book. I really liked the first one. Trace and Olivia are a great couple and I liked seeing how things progressed with them following the first book. I liked that not everything is sunshine and roses.
One thing that did annoy me though, was Trace’s constant comments about how perfect he was and how olivia couldn’t get enough. It started to grate a little.
I also question, and this goes for the first book as well, the inclusion of song lyrics in the books. In terms of copyright, i would’ve thought that would not be allowed, just something worth mentioning.
Still, if you love no muss, no fuss stories with a bit of drama and a lot of love, give these books a go.

3.5 stars.

This was a bit of a confusing book for me. At its heart it’s a bully romance but for my mind, it was dark enough, Zach didn’t embrace his anger enough for it. It could’ve been a decent enemies to lovers book but too much emphasis, like a LOT of emphasis, was on the fact he was her bully.
Also, it had a really immature feel for me. The pranks Cleo pulled just didn’t work for me.
What also didn’t work for me was the language in the sex scenes. I hate to say it, but it was on the corny side.
Still, I liked Zach and all his problems. I thought that was a great twist, and Art was cute too.
This book wasn’t for me, but I don’t think all is lost here.
