This was fine. Just kind of felt by the numbers.

Basically Catwoman trying to do good, even if she can go about it abit in a vicious way. Dealing with Penguin, whom I've never been a huge fan of, is okay. Basically a ton of chase scenes and fight scenes. Luckily the art is solid and it is a fun breezy read. I just wish I felt more for Catwoman herself in this run. I feel like we can benefit from seeing a deeper look into her mind right now.

This went into a different direction but I'm kind of loving it?

So remember that old lady who was selling Mieruko the beads? Well she rushes back into town and realizes that Mieruko might be even stronger than she realizes. Now she focuses on the young girl, teaching her ways, even if she can't see the ghost nearly as well as Mieruko. But the thing is...what Mieruko is seeing isn't very good.

With a couple of new characters here, including a magician, we have some funny and exciting plot points. This felt like placing all the crumbs and we'll get a big story down the line with a nice payoff. The art remains excellent, and the last few fan service pages were funny and cute without just being fully gross.

Overall, this story remains strong and one of the best of the year.

WOW This shit pissed me off enough that I'm going to make an entire video now how New 52 nearly KILLED Green Arrow with this garbage.

Maybe the most meta issue yet, a bit too meta....but I'm intrigued to see where goes at the end.

Immortal Hulk finally hits it's finale and...it was okay.

Here's the thing. I enjoyed Immortal Hulk. Especially the middle section like volume 3-6 or 7. But then it got pretty disjointed closer to the end.

Here we have Hulk being defined with who he is and what he is. Before we get into the internal struggle with the one below and the one above, we have to deal with a big brawl with the Avengers. Hulk is looked at as a monster, which all makes sense in the end. I mean look what he's done in this run alone. But can he actually be redeemed?

This was a weird ending. And not in the sense where I'm like "I'm confused what happened" ending, but in a more "Oh...that's...it...okay..." type ending. There's moment of slowdown with Betty that worked really well and I enjoyed some of the other moments of Hulk's internal monologue and end to his mission. But the very ending, the one above all or the one under, didn't really work for me. It dragged on FOREVER. Joe Fix was one of the better parts but even that felt muddled at times.

Overall. I feel this run would benefit from reading it in one long sitting instead of through years. To fully feel the story. As it stands it's a okay ending. A 3 out of 5.

Hulk smash!

This was a fun idea. I like crazy ass Bruce as the bad guy/good guy here. I think it's cool to see like a Gundam piloted Hulk and it was fun. It's not as deep or dark as the previous Immortal hulk but that's okay. Change is good. Ryan kills it with art. A 3 out of 5.

A even darker look into what a man with too much power and no regard to human life can do.

After the events of the last one, the world needs a new uprising from the Reborns. But the thing with that is the president doesn't want to lose his power. So he decides to take a stand and form his own group of "heroes" or reborn people to be on his side to keep everything in check. This leads to creating basically a super villain group. Now we're dealing with if super villains were a actual group as well in a more grounded way.

I really enjoyed this volume. The start was a bit slow and I kind of forgot who was who. But once it begins to come together it really shines with the world building and character motivation. By the end of the story we have a major fight, plenty of people die, and it all feels so grounded and real.

The art at times can be a bit hard to follow and it is a wordy story, so be prepared, but if you get invested I think you'll love it! A 4 out of 5.

Upon reread this is seriously one of the beat green arrow stories. It's like a nonstop action movie with high stakes. Loved it.

While I didn't love it as much as first issue I really enjoyed it. A nice middle bridge and some good character growth for Bruce. To see how much is upbringing changed makes me understand his actions more. A 3.5 out of 5.

A solid start, some cute and funny moments, and stylish art. Not huge fan of the main "villain" so far tho.
