This went into a different direction but I'm kind of loving it?

So remember that old lady who was selling Mieruko the beads? Well she rushes back into town and realizes that Mieruko might be even stronger than she realizes. Now she focuses on the young girl, teaching her ways, even if she can't see the ghost nearly as well as Mieruko. But the thing is...what Mieruko is seeing isn't very good.

With a couple of new characters here, including a magician, we have some funny and exciting plot points. This felt like placing all the crumbs and we'll get a big story down the line with a nice payoff. The art remains excellent, and the last few fan service pages were funny and cute without just being fully gross.

Overall, this story remains strong and one of the best of the year.
