Jesus Christ I can't even remember the last Shonen manga I read that I felt such desperation for the main characters.
Muzan unleashes all hell as he goes against all the remaining Demon Slayer members. This time though he's not holding back and quickly begins to dispatch them one by one. This lets Iguro really shine and get a backstory. Never knew or cared about snakeboy but goddamn if his backstory wasn't touching and fucked up. This lets me really root for him because he is sent through the goddamn ringer here and it basically is him and Tanjiro going face to fact with Muzan.
This is so close to the end it is making me so anxious. I love the stakes, the battle, the heart, and passion in this fight. When this is animated it is going to be hailed as one of the greatest fights of all time.
A 5 out of 5.

Got bored a out half way through. I wonder if Watters style just isn't for me.
Swamp Thing gives a bunch of new stories that all range in quality, and with that, it is probably the weakest volume for me so far.
I still enjoyed the majority of this. I think the best story is actually the one focused on basically pollution and creating a monster from us using up the earth's resources, tus becoming the ultimate villain for Swamp Thing. On top of that we finally see good old Hellblazer and he is for sure a piece of shit here as always. But he leads Swampy around the world where he must face things like Werewolves and Racism. Yep.
The werewolf storyline is a weird one. Somewhat good in parts, and love the fact we get a strong feminist character but the end...what the hell? And the Racism plot, again parts are great, but the overall storyline feels weak. Though I do love all the moments with Swamp Thing and Abby.
Overall, a mix pot for me on this one. Nothing bad, but a bit messy. Overall, a 3.5 out of 5.

Things heat up in this volume as we have our characters being pushed past their limits.
While the end of the final fight is a surprise it is a bit goofy how they move on. But the highlights of this volume are Yusuke showing who he really is and readying to unleash his new power. Hiei also gets a chance to shine as he goes toe to toe with two fights and gets to show off his sick moves. Kurama steps up last and his new appearance is one for the ages.
Overall, great stuff. This is when Yu Yu Hakusho becomes one of the GOAT animes. A 4 out of 5.

12 Volumes deep and Black Clover never really surpasses "Pretty good" but it never dips into "Terrible" and so since I can read unlimited amount of manga on Shonen Jump this is a easy one to sit through.
This volume is mostly a chill relaxing volume. Everyone gets to hang out, go to festival, even go on a few dates. There's a few funny moments, cute, and so on. The ending transports the heroes to a new land where they must survive and while it's a decent start it does feel like we're repeating the same story structure. The characters being half entertaining is what is keeping me from dropping the series. Average fun shonen jump is basically Black Clover, and that's okay.

I'm not gonna lie, this series is really growing on me.
This time Kotoka must go meet Yunoki's mom. So Yunoki has a hair kink, his sister a leg kink, so what do you think his mom's kink is? You guessed it.
Hands.
Actually, this is the least "omg" kink so far. I know plenty of people who love hands and I don't find it a big weird kink. However, as always, Yunoki's mom also throws up rainbow color puke anytime her son and maybe soon to be daughter in law do anything cute. It's both insane and hysterical.
That basically sums up this series. Cute, insane, and funny. Lots of great reaction humor, good romance, and a interesting storyline that revolves around kinks that could be gross but works.
I'ma end this one with a 4 out of 5.

By the creator of 20th century boys and Monster.
Need I say more?
Buy it.
But this is really good. A girl trying to do her best and be a hero meets a old disgraced pilot as they work together after their city goes under water to send some relief. The heartfelt moments work really well, the art is amazing, and that cliffhanger is so jarring I'm so eager to read the next volume.
As always, Urasawa delivers. A 5 out of 5.

This is a cool mix of feeling comfortable with yourself as a Trans character and ALSO starting up your own business.
Ryo is trying to feel comfortable in their own skin. Once a she, he now likes to go by a he. Despite his body he wants to be considered a man. But on top of high school already sucking and being messy he now has to find acceptness, and it's not easy. But one day he meets Jin, a guy who just wants to stand out from the rest. He choses Ryo to help him create his dream of a brandname clothing but also coming to terms with who they are.
I can never fully understand how it is for Ryo. Him trying to feel comfortable being who he is now must be rough. But like Jin says, he's willing to listen to his friend on the subject because that's what friends do. On top of that we get a look into the business side of things, starting up your own clothing line, and that also is interesting.
While it doesn't break any new ground in terms of plotting about starting a business it does by giving us a main character who is Transgender, which we don't often get, or really ever. I personally love it, and want to learn more about Ryo but also Jin as well as a newcomer by the end.
This one is a nice 4 out of 5.

Taylor proves that even without established characters from Marvel/DC he can create interesting characters you care for.
An organization hellbent on keeping seven cases out of the hands of people wanting to open them and destroy the world. But the main focus is on a small boy who is left by his parents to grow up within this organzation. But instead of the typical leave your kid behind these parents train the boy but can never be a father/mother to him, creating a interesting dynamic. Lots of family drama here, mixed with excellecent art, and high paced action, make this newest Boom book worth reading.

A comic with so many ideas thrown into it I was both confused but atleast never bored.
I don't really have much to say at this point for action comics. This volume is pure, well, action. The first volume of this series was far more "News reporter/family" time but now we have Superman with the Justice league and Young Justice taking down Luthor and Red Mist and more. It's SO much, and with the art going back and forth between "That's pretty good" to "Why does everyone look like block people" it's hard to suggest this as a must read.
A 3 out of 5 at best for me.
