Wow, sometimes I forgot how silly and stupid Millar dialogue can be.

So this is basically a hunt for Ghost Rider. But first the Ultimate Avengers need to do some recruiting. First they take in Punisher after he's killed about 200+ people. Then they get Cash, who in this universe is basically like the first Hulk. All together, Black Widow, Cash, Warmachine, Punisher, and Hawkeye go and try to hunt down Ghost Rider. But soon into it we learn Ghost Rider isn't the real bad guy here.

The plot is simple. Chase, fight, chase, fight, and so on. This whole entire book is one big chase and fight scene. Sure, the fights are over the top and stupid fun. At one point Cash grabs a fucking plane and smashes it into Warmachine. So yeah, this is just mostly insanity, little racism, and plenty of sexism, sprinkled on top of everything. Stupid? Yes. Entertaining? yes.

A 3 out of 5.

The first 3 and a half issues are pretty good and then...lolz...stupid ass shit.

So the first three issues actually build up nicely to the confrontation in the title. When Cap and Thor find a guy who's been given the super soldier sirum turn and become a monster before dying they've had enough of this SHIELD shit. On the flipside have Nick Fury trying to find out who's controlling who, and the secrets behind that. All pretty good and the fight is epic when you see everyone fight. It feels gritty but also exciting and fun.

Then the 2nd half kicks in and it's fucking stupid, dull, and the plot twist is so horrible. Oh don't get me started on how bad a character Tony Stark's brother is. Also...the amount of exposition at the end is insane. Like in a dumb fucking boring way.

So yeah first half is like a 3.5 but second half is awful. So 2 in total.

This tells the past of Eddie before he gets the venom suit and when he has it.

The title doesn't lie. This shit is pretty dark.

Remember Eddie being an asshole in the 80's? Well what about if Eddie stole kittens and then gave them back to make himself look good. Or forcefully grab a girl in High School. OR COVER A MURDERER FOR A STORY. This is Eddie before he becomes the Semi-anti-hero that he is now days. It only gets worse when his life gets worse as that's when he has the faithful meeting of Venom. With Venom and him together they decide to payback Peter/Spider-man.

Overall, this is a lot darker than I expected. The first two issues heavily focus on Eddie's upbringing and you can kind of see why he's a asshole. Then it gets even darker when he covers up murders for a killer to get a story. Then even worse when he gets the Venom suit and decides to pay MJ a visit, really creepy rapey vibes. The wacky art, especially the overexaggerate faces and movements can be jarring at points, while other times the action looks smooth as butter. Overall, this was weird ready, yet I won't lie, I couldn't stop reading. I wouldn't say it's a must read but something different. Not Zeb Wells best but you can't win them all.

A 3 out of 5.

Nightwing gets better with the 2nd volume, even if it's still not a homerun.

Unlike most people I see reviewing, I much perfer the first two issues here. The court of owls is one of the best things to happen to Batman and it helps elevate Nightwing's story. Giving personal issues + some fantastic fight scenes thanks to the art, the first two parter is brutal and exciting. I also loved the twist with the grandpa.

Now the second half isn't bad just tad bit boring at times. We have a new villain who is using his powers to manupulate people and trick a cop into going against Dick. It's a classic villain vs hero story with a so/so ending.

Overall, good but not great. Least it's better than volume 1. A 3 out of 5.

Wow...

So if read Guardians issue 1 you'll know Silver Surfer got sucked into some black hole and never to be seen again. The end. However, we now have the answer to what happened.

This strange, weird, epic, and tragic tale of Silver surfer trying to find his way back home and bring balance is great. The main villain, who I won't spoil, chases Silver Surfer to the ends of the universe to exact revenge. We learn of the past of now only Surfer but also Galactus. On top of that the book wants to really focus on the story of balance and if killing, even a murderer, really does anything to bring balance.

The other part of this book you'll see get mentioned a lot is the art. That's because is out of this fucking world amazing. The colors just up the Inks, and this is one trippy but amazing looking book. From the dower sad moments to the epic amazing moments, the art catches it all. Truly amazing.

This is a fantastic book. If possible I recommend getting the Library edition. It's the one I got, and though expensive, looks extremely impressive with this art and storytelling. Wish read it earlier because it's a easy 5 out of 5 and one of the best 2019 books out.

Just awful. Confusing, messy, and not fun. What happened to this series? I'll wait till Ryan takes over to fix this.

A solid crime hitman story.

It stars a old man who's basically losing his mind. Barely can he even remember people's names let alone do much else. But when two people come to kill him he takes them out with ease and begins to learn of why he's being hunted. With everyone hunting everyone, and the Hitman now protecting a young man, will he be able to come out alive in this world?

Overall, this was pretty good. Fasted paced, vicious, and plenty of death to go around. The art is muddy but moody, which is nice. I thought the pacing was very fast which kept it interesting but I also didn't get connected to anyone (except that cute old dog!) But overall a solid crime drama. Check it out!

Woman having sex with each other. Sleezy devil like guy fucking the main character who is fucking the daughter who transforms into daughter but sometimes father...what is this series about? Basically a painter fucking a bunch of demons and forcing people into sex.

This is some weird shit...the art is okay. I don't know if I'll continue it. But if like a lot of dick sucking, vagina licking, and naked bodies, this one is for you.

This volume is an explosion of emotions and high energy fight scenes.

When a top tier Demon comes in after the exciting Train Demon take over, we have our main heroes hurt but ready to fight. But it is actually Kyojuro, the new leader of the Slayer Corp, who defends the younger cast from harm. In a fight to the death, Kyojuro and this new demon go head to head in a epic battle that will lead to a sudden conclusion.

The emotions are high in this one. Lots of sad moments, lots of great fight scenes, and a lot of heart. The whole cast really shines here and we even get a deeper look into the main villain of the series and what these demons are up to. This might be one of the strongest volumes in the series so far and this series keeps on climbing the ranks of greatness. A 5 out of 5.

This was great, up until the last issue, which was okay.

Fatale takes a break from a long narrative to tell basically 4 individual stories all revolving around the centeral character. In doing so we get a lot of different time lines and locations. It doesn't reflect the modern story at all, which could be a plus since last volume it was the weakest part. But do we get any answers?

Each story is interesting and I'm eager to see if we do get a answer on who she is. I also love the art still, Sean Phillips knocks it out of the park. It's amazing how much he draws and it's still so damn good. The first 3 issues are all great but the last issue suffered from covering similar grounds and being slightly boring.

Overall a 3.5 out of 5.
