First, I would like to say that if you have not read "Sick Boys" (Book 1), I would recommend starting there. This series, along with the world-building centered around Spine Ridge University, is a lot of fun. Lana is the female main character (FMC), but to me, the standout character is Nathan. Without giving any spoilers, he is going through a lot in this book. If you haven't already, I would definitely recommend jumping into this series. Then go on to read Vile Boys which just came out, I kknow I a going to.
I was not ready for this one. This book was recommended to me, and the person who recommended it was shocked I had not read it yet. After reading it, so am I. It starts with Cora and Dean, soon-to-be brother and sister-in-law. After a late night of drinking and slinging insults, they get kidnapped. And I am going to stop there because I do not want to give any spoilers. This is an emotional ride, and I am glad I picked this book up. Read it!
I would actually Give this book 4.5 star but Goodreads wants to not have half stars.
Please read the Author's Note it has the trigger warnings listed, this is Erotic Horror.
That being said I can not warm you enough that you are not ready for this book it is so good. At one point I was just nervous laughing because I did not know how to express any other feeling about the plot twist.

Book 3 of the Spine Ridge University Series did not disappoint. Pro tip: If you are reading the ebook, make sure you click the extended epilogue when you finish the book. If you are wondering whether the boys from Sick Boys and Evil Boys are all in this book, the answer is yes. Now, this can be read as a standalone, but if you are wondering where in the timeline this is, it starts about midway through Evil Boys. Do not quote me on that; this is my perception. Now, if you ask me, the series just got better as Clarissa kept writing. Each one of the MMC's (Blaine, Caleb, and Ares) has such an individual personality that makes you fall for them as much as Crystal (FMC) does. I do not know what I expected from the Tartarus House boys, but it did not disappoint: action, hedonism, parties, and betrayal. READ THIS SERIES!!!
I am going to start by stating there are 30 trigger warning, trust me I counted and that weird little
For the Love of Layla" by Callie Moss is a dark psychological stalker romance, so please check the triggers listed on the author's website. Liam (MMC) and Layla (FMC) meet at a magazine company that Liam has just acquired, and Layla works there and literally runs into him. Their relationship lasts less than a year before it abruptly halts when Liam attacks Layla's boss for harassing her. Months after Liam and Layla try to move on with their lives, Layla captures the eye of a stalker. This takes a toll on her mental health, and the cops not believing her makes it even worse. This is a dual perspective story with flashes between the present and the past. It is quick-paced, with multiple plot twists and what I think is a surprise ending. I would give it 4.5 stars, but Goodreads will not let me. Would definitely recommend.
"His to Hide" by K.J. Devoir, Book 2 of 3, demands familiarity with the series—reading Book 1 is a must. The story revolves around half-sisters Leena and Rachael, with Rachael presumed dead, leaving Leena an inheritance in Moonvine. The mystery deepens, involving an insufferable cousin, Zand, with secrets. This installment seamlessly continues the narrative, delving deeper into Zand's world. The chemistry between characters is beautifully unfolding, and the mystery of Rachael takes a surprising turn. Eagerly anticipating Part 3 to see how it all concludes.

"Wanna Play a Game" introduces us to the first characters: the three MMCs Sawyer, Miles (ex-military), and Ryder. What makes this immediately delicious is that all three MMCs are best friends and all have a "situationship" with each other. You become aware that these men all like to hunt together, not the traditional waiting-for-a-deer-to-walk-by kind, but the morally black kind that we love to read about. Then, Cali/California (FMC) comes into the picture with her boyfriend, Ben. Without giving spoilers, just know that we do not like him, and he and Cali get into it. She leaves to clear her head and runs into Sawyer, Miles, and Ryder. What Cali does not know is that one of the boys has a warrant and is later arrested off a tip, one that they think she called in. This is where the games begin. If you think this is going to be a slow burn, it's not—the action starts in chapter 6. As you get to know the characters, you see how each one of them is fragmented. In the midst of Miles, Sawyer, and Ryder's toxic interplay, Cali's arrival with her own baggage acts as a catalyst, breaking the deadlock. I ripped through this book in a all-day sitting with a glass of wine
If you want a quick novella to get you out of a reading slump, this is something I would recommend. It is set in the 1930s and begins when Silvia is just working her normal shift in the diner when Vernon and Reaper inform her to come with them. The story is told from Silvia's perspective. Once she gets to their destination, she is introduced to Ricky and Morris and is informed she was taken as collateral for her mother's debt. This is quick, spicy, and action-packed. 4.5
