If you want a quick novella to get you out of a reading slump, this is something I would recommend. It is set in the 1930s and begins when Silvia is just working her normal shift in the diner when Vernon and Reaper inform her to come with them. The story is told from Silvia's perspective. Once she gets to their destination, she is introduced to Ricky and Morris and is informed she was taken as collateral for her mother's debt. This is quick, spicy, and action-packed. 4.5
