Thank you Skyscape and NetGalley for the eARC of How to Win a Breakup! All opinions in this review are my own.
How to Win a Breakup is easily my favorite Farah Heron book I've read so far! With a mix of Gossip Girl and the movie Can't Buy Me Love, Heron creates a situation that is both funny and heartwarming. Samaya learns a lot about herself over the course of the book and I like how much she is able to recognize her own expectations by the end. I hope Heron writes more YA novels because this one was an excellent start!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of Hard Dough Homicide! All opinions in this review are my own.
I like the combination of food and family in this cozy mystery series. Lyndsay is able to solve these mysteries because of the support of her family, even if they have the unluckiest bakery in the city. I always enjoy a closed door mystery and Hard Dough Homicide was no different! I'm glad the second book lived up to the first and I'm excited to read the third one now!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of The Heiress! All opinions in this review are my own.
The Heiress is full of secrets both past and present. I like how Ruby's letters are interspersed with the present day action because you are able to get the full story without an info dump or two timelines. There were so many twists and turns that just when you start to think you know everything about the characters, one of them reveals another secret!
I love how the settings of Hawkins's thrillers always factor in as a character as well. The sinisterness of Ashby House (along with the portrait of Ruby) create this atmospheric backdrop for the darkness that is revealed throughout the book. Hawkins's ability to create such vibrant settings are part of what make her thrillers so good!

Thank you Harper Perennial and NetGalley for the eARC of Seven Exes! All opinions in this review are my own.
I was very excited about this book from the start. It reminds me of a mix between one of my favorite shows, Love Sick, and the movie What's Your Number? The characters were relatable and I like how the story would flashback to Esther's time with each ex in between the present day chapters. I think many readers will be able to connect to Esther's feelings of not being where she wants to be at a certain point in her life and I appreciate that Seven Exes ended up being about more than just Esther's love life.

Thank you Ballantine and NetGalley for the eARC of The Madwomen of Paris! All opinions in this review are my own.
I'm going to be honest, I wasn't quite sure if I was going to like this book but the synopsis sounded intriguing. Although it starts slow, The Madwomen of Paris eventually becomes action-packed and verges on the edge of becoming a psychological thriller. I appreciate that the author is giving a voice to these women during a dark time in history and allowing them to take back some of the control they lost by being put in the asylum.

Thank you Celadon and NetGalley for the eARC of The Woman Inside! All opinions in this review are my own.
I cannot emphasize how good this book was! It opens with the ending and you spend the whole book trying to figure out which characters are trustworthy. Not only does The Woman Inside have short chapters (my favorite), they are also interspered with police interviews and articles written about the crime. If you are looking for a book that will be difficult to put down, check out The Woman Inside!

Thank you Ballantine and NetGalley for the eARC of Solomon's Crown! All opinions in this review are my own.
I appreciate how honest the author is in the historical note at the beginning of the book. She recognizes that other than the characters themselves, she strayed far from the historical facts. I know little about Philip and Richard so this didn't bother me too much.
Although it took me awhile to get into, I ended up really enjoying Solomon's Crown. I liked the political intrigue and rival aspect of the romance. The last 100 pages were so good!

Thank you Del Rey Books and NetGalley for the eARC of Thief Liar Lady! All opinions in this review are my own.
I have only heard great things about Thief Liar Lady and I'm happy to say that it lived up to the hype! I feel like it is a cross between a Cinderella retelling and Throne of Glass. I loved the scheming of Ash and the magic system of the world! I can't wait to read more from this author!

Thank you Libro FM for the ALC of The Haunted Bridge! All opinions in this review are my own.
Although this book is well into the Mystery House series, it was the first one that I read. I liked the blend of paranormal with mystery and how they tied it to actual historical events. The audiobook is read by the author which is always a plus for me. It seems like each book in the series is set in a different location which is a cool idea!
