Thank you Kensington Books and BiblioLifestyle for the gifted copy of Murder By Invitation! All opinions in this review are my own.
This was my first book in the Phyllida Bright series and I loved it! At first I wasn't sure about Phyllida being Agatha Christie's housekeeper and solving mysteries of her own, but Agatha is only minimally in the book. I loved the guise of a murder mystery game covering for an actual murder! I can't wait to read the rest of this historical mystery series!

Thank you Tandem Collective and Doubleday for the ARC of The Exchange! All opinions in this review are my own.
It's always hard to come back to a series after so many years away and I think The Exchange suffers from that. Although they reference what happened in The Firm, this is just a new novel about the characters from the first book. While I don't normally read them, The Exchange was a decent hostage negotiation book.

Thank you Ballantine and NetGalley for the eARC of Such Pretty Flowers! All opinions in this review are my own.
Such Pretty Flowers was such a sinister read! At first, I was waiting for Holly to discover something terrible around every corner. Unfortunately, there was a lot of waiting in this book and the pace was pretty slow. I felt like I spent most of the time waiting for something to happen and it didn’t happen until the final third of the book. At least the ending was dramatic enough to make up for some of it.

Thank you Harper Perennial and NetGalley for the eARC of Love Buzz! All opinions in this review are my own.
Wow I don't think I have ever read a book where the main character implodes her life as much as in Love Buzz. That being said, it made the ending all the more satisfying. I appreciated Serena's journey towards her own happiness and not others' expectations of her. There are so many twists and turns along the way that I was able to absolutely devour this book and I can't wait to read more by the author!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of The Girls of Summer! All opinions in this review are my own.
While I loved the setting and usage of time to hide secrets, the secrets that were hidden just made me sad. I thought this book would be more mysterious but you are able to pick up on what is happening way before the main character does. It's heartbreaking to see her fall back to it years later. Even though I didn't love The Girls of Summer, I would be curious to read the author's next book.
Thank you Harper Perennial for the gifted copy of All Our Shimmering Skies. All opinions in this review are my own.
I thought this was going to be a different story than it was but I decided to try it. Once I got to the scene when Molly is forced to dig up her mother's grave , I knew I was done with it though.

Thank you Sourcebooks and NetGalley for the eARC of Without Saying Goodbye! All opinions in this review are my own.
Without Saying Goodbye was an interesting read. It took me awhile to understand who each character was and how they were connected. Once I got that down, I couldn't put this book down! Although I don't really consider it a thriller, it does get very tense at the end. I liked that it was set in Wales.

Thank you Libro FM and Tantor Media for the ALC of Dracula Doesn't Drink Lemonade! All opinions in this review are my own.
Dracula Doesn't Drink Lemonade was a funny, quick listen. I like that Dracula drinks pink lemonade, but I felt like his story was too quick! I did like that the kids are questioning whether or not their classmate is now a vampire!

Monsters Don't Scuba Dive was easily my favorite Bailey School Kids book so far! I loved that they brought Nessie into the series and how she was able to tie into their story.

Alison Cochrun is an auto-buy author for me and this book is exactly the reason why. I didn't think she would be able to top The Charm Offensive but Kiss Her Once For Me was phenomenal! It is both funny and emotional. It's got a marriage of convenience, second chance, forced proximity, and one bed tropes! I can go on and on about how much I loved this book but instead I will just tell you to go and read it!!
