I loved the idea of this book and while the middle chuck of the story was great and kept me at the edge of my seat, I didn’t love this one over all 🤷🏻♀️ the reveal was kind of lame and I didn’t find the “betrayal” of it to be very surprising. I also didn’t really like any of the characters so the deaths just weren’t very emotional for me. I do think the whole idea of Noelle’s club and the whole clown hunt thing was so interesting and a very good concept but that’s about all I enjoyed about it. It’s not one that I would recommend but it’s not one that I wouldn’t either 🤷🏻♀️

This was an enjoyable read but not as great as I expected. I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if I hadn’t seen the movie so many times and basically knew everything that was going to happen. I also think it just worked better as a movie; I liked the characters more in the movie and I thought the scenes were more funny! But it’s a very quick read and if you enjoyed the movie, I’d definitely say give it a try! ☺️

This kept me invested the whole time but I think I was just expecting more? The synopsis made it seem like there was gonna be some kind of twist but there wasn’t so I think I just kept waiting and waiting for something shocking to happen and then it didn’t 🤷🏻♀️ besides that though, it was pretty good! Overall it was very unsettling, especially the chapters in Clover’s pov and it left me very uncomfortable. Honestly, people are just terrifying and being inside of the mind of someone so unstable didn’t do anything good for my anxiety lol

I enjoyed this book overall!! I think the least interesting aspect of the book was the romance between Adam & Zayneb though 😂 it made me a little bored in the second half because I just wasn’t really invested in them getting together or not 🤷🏻♀️
But besides that, I think this book is powerful in a lot of ways!! The main thing that stuck with me was Zayneb’s rage. So many people mistake her anger about anti-Muslim hate for her being a violent person but she just wanted people to care. And like rage and violence go hand and hand but not everyone that’s angry is violent. She’s someone that feels things very strongly and can’t be quiet about it which makes sense! If injustice doesn’t make you angry, you need to check your privilege because everyone should be angry about the injustice Muslim people face, it doesn’t matter if it “doesn’t affect you personally” you should care about other humans and fight for them! It’s everyone’s responsibility, not just the people that the injustice directly affects. I also thought the MS rep with Adam and how difficult it is to deal with a terrifying diagnosis, especially when that diagnosis has already taken someone close to you, and having to figure out how to reshape your life plans around it. Overall, I recommend this one!

Omg I loved this so much!!! I’ve been having a very meh reading month so this was such a pleasant surprise!! The queer found family of it all was the true shining point of this story but literally every other aspect was so great too! Gwen & Bridget, Art & Gabe, Sydney & Agnes, the overall mystery, the atmosphere, the King Arthur aspect, the humor, just seriously everything was so good!! I cannot recommend this one more 😍

This book really felt like sitting down and having a conversation with Reba and I really loved that! It’s very short and not an actual memoir so don’t go in expecting to learn every single thing about her. This really was just little glimpses of her life and her being able to share things that she loves and important moments to her! It was also really cool getting to hear all of the interviews with other people and seeing her through their eyes and knowing that who she seems to be is exactly who she is!

Okay so while I think the quality of this book is a 5 star, my personal rating would probably be like a 3.5 stars so I just went with 4 stars!
To start, I loved how well Jessie’s autism was handled in this story! I think there’s so much stigma surrounding autism and people don’t really understand that it’s a spectrum and can look different in everyone. I loved getting to see her journey from being diagnosed to finally accepting and embracing her diagnosis. I also loved how important Jessie being Palestinian was to the story and I loved the little glimpses of the history of Palestine throughout the story! I also think this was such an accurate portrayal of all of the complicated feelings you have as a teenager and how messy and complicated everything is!
On the other hand, I spent almost this entire book so annoyed with all of the characters that I was getting annoyed with everything in real life 🙄 For one, Levi was the actual worst and Jessie being so hung up on him was so so frustrating. I honestly think the only person I wasn’t annoyed by was Griffin lol I think my main issue was that this book was just too young for me. Like I’ve never really understood when people said that because I love YA books so much but this one finally made me understand. Which is a me problem and not this books problem so with all that being said, I do recommend this book, especially to teenagers! I think it has great representation and is a very important read! But if you’re an adult like me, just go into it knowing that this book was not written for you!

I actually enjoyed this way more than I expected! I honestly had no interest in reading a story about Snow until I saw the trailer for the movie and it had me intrigued lol while I still wish the story was in anyone else’s perspective, I think seeing how inherently evil he always has been and how everything started and came to be the spectacle The Hunger Games morphed into over the years between this book and Katniss’s first book was really well executed! This probably would’ve been a 4.5 star read for me but I took off that half star because all the snake stuff was just too much for me (snakes are my biggest fear 😰) but overall this was a really enjoyable read and I can’t wait to see how the film turns out!

This book was so cute!! I loved both Morgan & Rory so much! When I heard this was a witchy, fake dating, sapphic book, I was pretty much sold right away and it did not disappoint! My only annoyance was with Morgan when she was trying to get Rory to hate her so she wouldn’t have to tell her about the potion but the resolution of all of it made up for that but of miscommunication! Anyway, this was a perfect book to finish on Halloween and I definitely recommend!! 💜

This was a really cute quick read that was perfect for spooky season! I loved The Ex Hex so I was excited to read this one and while I didn’t love it as much as The Ex Hex, I still really enjoyed it! Gwyn & Wells had explosive chemistry and I was surprised by the ultimate reveal! My only issue was that the book is in both of their pov but the audiobook was narrated by 1 person so I’d get confused who’s head I was supposed to be in very often lol but other than that, this was really cute! ☺️
