I think this was good, and had some really great elements to it. Steven and Grace were so good together, and I loved just how much they cared for each other. Steven is a billionaire, but he wasn't the typical rich guy we often read about in romance. Both he and Grace have had a tough life and it was so lovely to see them come together and find love with each other. What threw me off, and quite frankly grossed me out, was the PLOT TWIST! You know the one... and if you don't, look up spoilers for it because it's WILD and I think it was totally unnecessary. Like, anything else could have happened but that was just... not good. Anyways, other than that, I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Wow, this is an amazing book that really makes you feel. Blair is struggling with chronic depression, while Graham is struggling with managing the lodge and dealing with the grief surrounding his father having Alzheimer's. These two are both broken people who are delaing with such tough life circumstances, but they form a friendship and eventually fall in love, and they help each other heal and deal with all that life has handed to them. I loved the remote setting of the book, and worked really well for the characters and their journey together. The mental health representation in this book is so good, and the author definitely did the heavy topics justice. I loved the trope of strangers to friends to lovers! Graham is the perfect book boyfriend who really listens and it's clear how much he cares for Blair. This book really does feel like a warm hug and is my new comfort read.

This was good, but it could have been so much better and I feel like it fell short in a lot of ways. I didn't feel the connection with the characters at all, and I felt like it was by force making me try to care about these characters. This is because they had so much trauma and bad things happen to them, that you end having empathy for them but I didn't really feel the romance because of that. This felt like the author just threw in every bad thing and every conceivable trauma she possibly could to cause drama but it just became too much. I think this had a lot of potential, but missed the mark and I did not enjoy it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bonnie Jo Pierson, and Rising Action Publishing Co. for the eARC of this book.

This was such a sweet and steamy novella! I love the Sullivan Family series and this novella was a perfect addition to it. It clocks in around 75 pages, but I felt like I got the full story and didn't feel like it was missing anything. I loved getting to read Cass and Huck's story after seeing them pop up in the previous Sullivan Family books. These two were meant for each other, and the plot, spice and banter was PERFECTION.

I know it's spring, but this Christmas holiday romance was exactly what I needed! It doesn't feel short, even though it clocks in at less than 150 pages, but I absolutely loved it and I adored Jack and Presley. This has just the right amount of plot, spice, banter, and funny moments that had me giggling. I loved the fake dating, forced proximity tropes, especially because Jack is Presley's boss and he has worked her to the bone the last couple of years, but he poses as her boyfriend while accompanying her on her holiday vacation to her family's house and helps her fulfill her holiday wishlist. I wish there wasn't a third act breakup because it is already so short, but I truly enjoyed this novella and I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

I really wanted to love this, because I am a huge Formula 1 fan and I absolutely love the idea of a female driver. It was exactly what I needed it to be, and I loved every second of the book. The banter was top tier and all of the references to the sport of F1 made me so happy. The author hit home on everything, and didn't miss a beat when it came to the sport. I felt like it was really well done, and the enemies to lovers trope is my favorite and Diana and Miguel were great together. The book focuses heavily on F1 though, and romance is really a subplot but I think the author combined both really well. I LOVED this book and hope that others become fans of F1 after this too!

YES CHEF! Okay, so if you are at all a fan of The Bear and want a romance novel that gives you those vibes, then this it! It was so good, and if you have ever worked in a restaurant, you'll know right away just how accurate this is. I absolutely loved James and Ozzy together and they both deserved each other in the best way possible. This has really funny moments and super hot spice, but be warned... it does have some heavy themes and triggers that may bother some people, so please be mindful of that. You'll never look at a candy bar the same again after this book! I do wish there had been more when it came to the conclusion of Ozzy's family issues and dynamic, but other than that, this book was a delight and I highly recommend it!

Well... this lacked pretty much everything. It was just BORING. There was absolutely no sense of direction and the plot was just them sneaking around and having sex and trying not to get caught. That's literally it. I should have known better, because it's coach/student, but I thought I'd give it a try. There was nothing to it, to the point where I thought the entire thing was just unnecessary. In fact, she doubles down with the whole coach/student thing, so not only is Jennsyn CURRENTLY dating a coach and it's forbidden, but she had already transferred schools because she was with a coach at THAT school and it was forbidden. Really? This is where we are at? It could have been anything else, but nope, it was her with her coach at two different schools, and each time she knew it was wrong and against the rules but didn't care. Once is more than enough, but TWICE? Okay... Also, what kind of name is Jennsyn? What kind of name is Toren? I think Devney Perry peaked at Juniper Hill and that's it because the last several books have been terrible. I can't imagine the next book in this series will be any better.

I have not read a Heather Garvin book before this, but I absolutely loved it and will be reading more! I did have some reservations because this is a college romance, and I typically do NOT like those (the characters feel immature and childish) but this was good for what it is: a college romance. The tropes in this book really drew me in, as well as the cute cover! I love that this is an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, he falls first romance. Margot and Jackson are just so cute together, after they get over their dislike for each other. There are a lot of Taylor Swift references, and sometimes that can be annoying, but I think it was perfectly done in this book and not overkill at all. After all, Jackson is a musician and Margot is a fan so it makes sense. The banter was top notch, and there were certainly laugh out loud moments. The spice was good! I think it was the appropriate level for this type of book. I did see that this is just the first part of their story and there will be more, and I'm so excited to read more about Margot and Jackson!

Thank you to NetGalley, Heather Garvin, and Tuskan Publishing for the eARC of this book!

This is a topic I am becoming increasingly interested in, and I love that I have had the opportunity to read this book. The vagus nerve affects so much and I don't think people truly realize its impact. This is a great introductory guide that is very informative and helpful. If someone is struggling with their nervous system and how to improve mental health and physical health, then this is the book for them. It's revolutionary and can answer so many questions and help a person begin to find answers and help themselves so that they can be happy and healthy!

Thank you to NetGalley, Amanda Armstrong, and Fair Winds Press for the eARC of this book.
