I know it's spring, but this Christmas holiday romance was exactly what I needed! It doesn't feel short, even though it clocks in at less than 150 pages, but I absolutely loved it and I adored Jack and Presley. This has just the right amount of plot, spice, banter, and funny moments that had me giggling. I loved the fake dating, forced proximity tropes, especially because Jack is Presley's boss and he has worked her to the bone the last couple of years, but he poses as her boyfriend while accompanying her on her holiday vacation to her family's house and helps her fulfill her holiday wishlist. I wish there wasn't a third act breakup because it is already so short, but I truly enjoyed this novella and I cannot wait for the next book in the series!
