Just Don't Call Me Yours by Heather Garvin
4.0

I have not read a Heather Garvin book before this, but I absolutely loved it and will be reading more! I did have some reservations because this is a college romance, and I typically do NOT like those (the characters feel immature and childish) but this was good for what it is: a college romance. The tropes in this book really drew me in, as well as the cute cover! I love that this is an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, he falls first romance. Margot and Jackson are just so cute together, after they get over their dislike for each other. There are a lot of Taylor Swift references, and sometimes that can be annoying, but I think it was perfectly done in this book and not overkill at all. After all, Jackson is a musician and Margot is a fan so it makes sense. The banter was top notch, and there were certainly laugh out loud moments. The spice was good! I think it was the appropriate level for this type of book. I did see that this is just the first part of their story and there will be more, and I'm so excited to read more about Margot and Jackson!

Thank you to NetGalley, Heather Garvin, and Tuskan Publishing for the eARC of this book!
