While I am not Jewish, I love Jean Meltzer's books because I feel like I learn so much from them and immerse myself into a new culture. This book tackles some difficult topics, like anti-semitism and trauma, but the author handled these heavier topics so well. I loved the meet cute that Faye and Greg so much. This book does not have spice, but it more than makes up for it in its intricate and heartwarming plot that weaves in a beautiful romance. I loved that Faye was basically a "Jewitch" and was into magic and witchcraft, because I thought this was so interesting to read a character who combines the best of both worlds. I really love Jean Meltzer's ability to tell a story and am in awe of this book!

Thank you to NetGalley, Jean Meltzer, and Harlequin for an eARC of this book!

I loved this MM book and all of the representation in it. Both characters are neurodivergent and I love how mental health rep was talked about. This is such a cute story with lovable characters. I loved the grumpy/sunshine trope and thought it worked well here. It was laugh out loud funny with so many hilarious moments, and the spice was really there, which I appreciated! I love that these two had "regular" jobs and were just trying to make it in this world. I didn't like that this book was in the third person POV, but overall, it was a cute and fun read.

Thank you to NetGalley, Timothy Janovsky, and Harlequin for an eARC of this book.

I love a marriage in crisis book and what's even better is that this is an MMF book in which the couple falls for their houseguest. I love this series by Sara Cate so much, and this second installment was no exception. Briar and Caleb have a good marriage, but it feels lacking lately and along comes Dean to spice things up. I really loved Abby, particularly her relationship with Dean. The scenes between Dean and Abby and then Abby and Dean's father are so heartwarming and I loved how he accepted her. It was a journey to see Caleb accept his own sexuality but it was worth it in the end. Briar, Caleb and Dean care for each other and love each other so much, and I love that they weren't afraid of what others would say and decided to declare their love for each other and just be a happy family. I really can't wait for Lucas's book and Isaac's book!

Wow, this was so heartbreakingly beautiful and just an amazing story from start to finish. If it's any indication as to how good it was, I read this in one sitting and couldn't tear my eyes away. These two are soulmates and meant to be, and their love spans decades but is challenging, gutwrenching, beautiful and heartbreaking. These two really went through it, but their love was steadfast, even when they were apart. This is emotional, angsty, and you'll experience a rollercoaster of ups and downs but it was so worth it. Life gets in the way for these two SO MANY TIMES but neither of them ever give up on their love for each other. The journey is far from simple; it's complicated from beginning to end but I have never read a book that has made me feel this much before. It's best if you go in blind, so I won't be sharing anything that could remotely be a spoiler. However, I cannot recommend this highly enough and I think everyone should read it.

I absolutely LOVED this book! I cannot believe that this Jacklyn Hyde's debut novel, because it sure doesn't seem like it. This was an amazing paranormal romance and I can't stop thinking about it. First of all, I love the cover! It's gorgeous and really encapsulates exactly what the book is about and what makes it great. I also loved that the author added a playlist at the beginning of the book. I always appreciate when authors do this. The chemistry between Vlad and Aubrey was palpable and just so HOT. A vampire who is possessive and obsessed with his girl, and is not afraid to get spicy with her? YES PLEASE. I also loved just how laugh out loud funny this is. There were so many hilarious moments, especially the banter between Vlad and Doyle, his werewolf bestie. Another thing I loved was that there was plus size rep with Aubrey but it didn't feel over the top or like that's ALL she was. I loved this about her! I cannot say enough good things about this book and definitely think you should read it! I can't wait for the next book! A HUGE thank you to Jacklyn Hyde for the ARC of this amazing book!

My fave quotes:

“What is his problem?”
“Alphabetically or categorically?” he deadpans. “Ummm.”

“You’re being dramatic.”
“Doyle, there’s enough garlic in that dish to kill every vampire in Europe.”
He crosses his arms over his chest and lifts a brow. “You are the only vampire in Europe.”
“Exactly what I just fucking said.”

“I will unalive him.”
Doyle lets out a bark of laughter. “You have got to stay off social media. Unalive? Who even are you?”

Wow, Kate Clayborn is a master at storytelling and weaving romance into a story that has deeper subjects. This reads more like women's fiction, rather than a romance but it was a nice palate cleanser for me. If you're a fan of Emily Henry, then this author and this book are for you. Jess and Adam are very flawed people with complex pasts and presents, and yet you can't help rooting for them and wanting to know more. I loved the way she weaved in the true crime and podcast aspects, as this is huge trend and phenomena in pop culture right now. If you like Only Murders in the Building, you'll want to read this book. I love that the author combined both romance and mystery, and succeeded so well in both genres. This book is definitely not like her others; less happy go lucky, less fun and swoony, and more of a character study and plot driven but I loved that she took this leap and branched out to something new and different because I just loved it more than I can say.

Thank you to NetGalley, Kate Clayborn, and Kensington Books for the eARC of this book.

Thank you to Bobbi Maclaren for an eARC of this book! This is a small town romance and that just so happens to be one of my favorite tropes. Delilah moves to Kip Island with her younger brother and sister, who she is now raising after the passing of their parents. She's been through so much trauma, as have her siblings, but they move to this small town to start over and hopefully heal. Little does she know, she is currently renting the home of a woman whose son she just rear ended that morning! Luke doesn't immediately warm to Delilah, and instead thinks she's in town for other reasons. However, they grow to like each other and Luke cares about Delilah and her siblings so much as time goes on and he gets to know her. Despite their not so meet cute, they fall for each other, and both share trauma and their brokenness with one another. Delilah realizes, with the help of Luke and other kind people in town, that she and her family are deserving of happiness and healing. I loved the depth of these characters, and their backstories. Luke and Delilah share more similarities than they think, and everything was written so realistically and so well, despite the tough subject matter at times. I loved the small town vibes and all of the side characters too! I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I just really feel like this could have been so much better and it missed the mark for me. It felt too fast paced, not realistic and the banter was very cringe. Shelby also felt SO immature to me, right from the first page and the first paragraph. Also, Nate was much too instalust and I felt like he was already in love with Shelby right off the bat and I didn't care for that. She used really weird words to take the place of swear words too, which made it seem even more childish. I'm disappointed and sad because I loved the cover, the blurb and the premise of this book but it just wasn't good to me.

Thank you to NetGalley, Catherine Robertson, and HarperCollins/One More chapter for an eARC of this book.

I love this paranormal romance! This was so good. I really love the cover of this book; it's so gorgeous and drew me in. I also loved the Native American representation and the LGBTQIA+ representation. This book is heavy on the romance, with some comedy, paranormal and horror mixed in. There's a few tropes in here that I know others will love, like forced proximity, enemies to lovers and instalust. I do think it would have been better in first person POV or dual POV, but instead was in third person POV. I also think the book could use some better editing, because there was some grammatical errors, as well as the pace and flow were off. I think this would be a great sexy and spooky read for the fall vibes and around Halloween.

It was terrifying but also fantastic. Wow, I haven't been this invested in a book in awhile. Let me first start by saying that this book is HEAVY and has trigger warnings galore. Please be mindful of the content, because it can be a lot for some. That being said, this book was so good and so well done, especially for the content it contained. Honor is such a brave and badass woman and I was rooting for her at every page. Gideon is disgusting and someone I wish every bad thing on! But Helen and Fox... oh, these two wonderful people who help Honor in her time of need. I loved that Fox was patient with her and cared for her through it all, and never pushed. It was clear how much he cared for her and wanted the best for her. The parts where he shows her how to trust and open up and love again were so well written and made me tear up. Honor thought she was broken and worthless, but here comes Fox to show her that she is still beautiful, inside and out, and worthy of love and care. I also liked the ending and found it was the perfect way for Honor to honor (haha) what she had been through. Such an amazing book!
