It was terrifying but also fantastic. Wow, I haven't been this invested in a book in awhile. Let me first start by saying that this book is HEAVY and has trigger warnings galore. Please be mindful of the content, because it can be a lot for some. That being said, this book was so good and so well done, especially for the content it contained. Honor is such a brave and badass woman and I was rooting for her at every page. Gideon is disgusting and someone I wish every bad thing on! But Helen and Fox... oh, these two wonderful people who help Honor in her time of need. I loved that Fox was patient with her and cared for her through it all, and never pushed. It was clear how much he cared for her and wanted the best for her. The parts where he shows her how to trust and open up and love again were so well written and made me tear up. Honor thought she was broken and worthless, but here comes Fox to show her that she is still beautiful, inside and out, and worthy of love and care. I also liked the ending and found it was the perfect way for Honor to honor (haha) what she had been through. Such an amazing book!
