The side characters won me over in this book.

Okay, so I never read poetry because I really don't understand it half the time, and it rarely makes sense to me! I have been hearing a lot about this poem and wanted to scope it out. Thank goodness it read like a story! It was enchanting and dark and I loved it!!! Review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/06/02/review-goblin-market/

This book is massive, and it's full of awesome writing! I am all about past and present flashbacks, so that part had me consumed. I know some people can find this type of stuff confusing at time, but not for me. The chemistry with the romance was spot on, and I loved the characters!! Return to Oz is my favorite movie ever! So, I was all about this one! Nome King, Yes! Deadly Deserttttttttt! I liked Ozma and Lion as a team!

So, I had no idea how diverse a freaking sweet potato is! Enchiladas? Here's a sweet potato! Stew? Here's a sweet potato! Soup? Here's a sweet potato! Ice cream? Here's a sweet potato! It was pretty amazing to find out all the things that one little food product could make!

I really liked the first book, and I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one better... but I did! I thought it was cool that it was all set in the past and is sort of a prequel to the first book. It's broken up into three parts, multiple point of view. Some serious stuff goes down between Merlin and Morgana! Arthur was my absolute favorite character! Guinivier was ridiculous as usual. I wanted to cry along with Elaine! Seb and Viv were perfection! And oh my Alistair! Magic, love, tears, equals amazement. Need next book now! Armentrout is the one author that I know I can always get into her books from the get go. This one was no exception. It was an emotional ride and didn't have a lot of angst like her other books, and it wasn't needed here. There were some swoony scenes though, and Sebastian was great! I wanted to shake Lena at times, but I understand why she felt the way she did. I felt like this book also makes you really think about things. I only wish the side characters were developed more! Loved it! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/08/18/review-if-theres-no-tomorrow/

I've never been a big Chaol fan... but... I am now! Maas' writing and the way she makes you feel certain things for characters is astonishing. I loved how Chaol struggled with himself about the past. It felt real. We've all made choices in life that have caused a personal struggle, or I'm assuming most of us! Mass did an excellent job on the subject of this particular disability. Loved Yrene, Nesryn and Sartaq as well! Now the wait is on for the last book! 😱 Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/09/22/review-tower-of-dawn/

So, I'm totally loving this cover! A bird, cool background, the color blue? What's not to love? ❤️

It's been a long time since I have done photography, but this book was full of easy to follow suggestions. There was also some very gorgeous photographs inside, including a few trees. Trees are my absolute fave, and I would love to see a whole photography book just on creepy trees!

This was a great sequel! Sometimes, you never know how a second book is going to go. Luckily, this one was awesome! It has the perfect blend of darkness mixed with humor. There was character growth with Amy. She has a dark side to her that is hidden away, and there were tiny glimpses of it aching to come out, so I can't wait to see what direction her character goes in in the next book!!
