I really liked the first book, and I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one better... but I did! I thought it was cool that it was all set in the past and is sort of a prequel to the first book. It's broken up into three parts, multiple point of view. Some serious stuff goes down between Merlin and Morgana! Arthur was my absolute favorite character! Guinivier was ridiculous as usual. I wanted to cry along with Elaine! Seb and Viv were perfection! And oh my Alistair! Magic, love, tears, equals amazement. Need next book now!
