Perfection! Definitely, one of my favorites this year! I am all about revenge stories. Creepshow 2 (the short with the wooden Native American statue), Last House on the Left (the original, not that piece of crap remake), and I Spit on Your Grave! This book is more than just about revenge, it's about emotion, family bond, a potential love bond, and helping someone that deserves to be whole again. I can't even begin to express how good this book was! Review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/09/29/review-the-hollow-girl/
This is my first Gaiman book. I absolutely adore the movies Stardust and Coraline, but I still have yet to read those books. I am also weirdly fascinated over graveyards, always have been—the atmosphere, the emotions, the utter calmness. Anyway, this book had a lovely atmosphere and an eerie creepiness centered around this boy that these particular ghosts of the graveyard named "Nobody." His character was thoroughly enjoyable along with the others. I know if this book had been around during my junior high years, I would have been hugely fascinated with its dark undertones. I also think this movie needs to get made ASAP, I see it sitting on IMDB, but not being made...yet!!
I am obsessed with all things cheese. So, this book on queso really called to me. I'm not kidding, I literally drink the taco bell cheese straight out of the container. So, this book gave me great ideas on how to fancy that up, and now be able to drink excellent cheese. There was one that was a blanco queso with avocados—which are two of my favorite things, so I was in heaven just examining the picture. I may be biased because of the cheese situation, but this book was awesomeness in a bowl!
This is such a fun series! So, I was all about the Nome King in this one! Seriously, I am all about the movie Return to Oz as I have said before. So, I was fangirling when his presence came about!!! I also liked that a lot of the story takes place in Kansas and the other half in Oz! Can't wait for the last book!! I actually listened to audio on this one because I tried to read it before and could not get through it! Pride and Prejudice (the one with Kiera Knightley) is like my favorite movie ever! So, I felt it was time to get this book going. I love the way Austen wrote and stated everything, but sometimes I should have had a dictionary handy to look up words, because this book was written a while back. But, I love the story! The characters are all developed so well, plus Mr. Darcy is freaking amazing! So, with a classic such as this, the audio definitely worked better for me!
Well this was corny and fun! I loved the creepy pictures along with fears being morphed into horrorish things!
I loved seeing little Magnus! I just wanted it to be longer!!! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2016/11/17/review-crimson-dagger/

What a lovely book! I enjoyed this retelling a lot! Sometimes the pace felt a little slow, but the originality was all there!! But don't get me started on the king... I understood him, but he was just weird... Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/05/02/review-girls-made-of-snow-and-glass/
What does rainbow smoke taste like? This one definitely has the best cover! This one we get to see more of Dorothy in it. I found Polly to be a little naive, but I loved her world in this one!!
