Having followed Hannah Shaw, my personal hero, for years and been involved in animal rescue myself, I knew much of the information presented in this book - from the medical bits to the more personal stories about individual kitties. And it was just a delightful to read/listen to every bit of it.
I read both the physical book and listened to the audiobook at the same time. There are some delightful differences between the two, but when Hannah was going a bit off script it was seemingly because she was just so excited to continue sharing information.
If you are interested in kitten fostering, rescue, and advocacy, then this is the book for you!! Read it, learn it, love it, share it!

This is the only one I've struggled to get through. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the others.
This was a quick and enjoyable read, but mostly because I spent a rather large chunk of the time reading saying "wow, you're so stupid!" Like, really, who thinks the way this chick thinks? Who thinks, "ooh, murder! Let's 'investigate' and see what I can come up with just because I can sort of read minds and it's totally fine. Nothing will happen to me. I can read minds!"
I know this took me forever and a half to finish, but it's not anything to do with the book. This book was amazing and delightful to read.
Seth has no memory and Kendra is trying hard to save everything and everyone! Knox is also turning into a badass and I love it!

I very seldom make comparisons to the Harry Potter books because it seems like everyone likes to try to compare books to that series, so I won't make a comparison to the content of the books, but I will say that while reading this book I felt the way I felt when I first read the first Harry Potter book. And that is definitely a good thing.
I'm not happy that I have to wait until August for the third book, but I'm starting the second one right now. I can't wait to see how Morrigan and Hawthorne handle the next year.

So amazing!! And now to wait for the next one...
Impatiently. I will impatiently await the next one. This was WONDERFUL! Or even, WUNDERful.

This book was both incredibly informative and incredibly entertaining. There aren't many political books that could get me to say "I liked reading this", but this is definitely the one that I enjoyed.
I finished this late last night/early this morning (around 1a) and have been thinking of how to write a review for it.
Personally, I thought it was incredible. I've seen a lot of people talking about how it makes you sympathize with a villain, but I didn't get that. For me it showed me that Snow was always selfish and potentially evil.
Of course I could see redeemable qualities, but Snow consistently chose to do only that which would benefit himself. Sure, maybe he was conflicted while doing it, but he still made the selfish choice every time.
I even almost wanted love to redeem and then break him because then I could see the "sympathize with the villain" angle. But I just could not see that in this story and I was looking for it.
Regardless, I loved the story. Seeing the earlier Hunger Games and seeing the seeds for how they would evolve into what we know with Katniss was fascinating. Seeing Snow as a teenager was equally fascinating to me. I love knowing almost everything about important characters and Snow was an important character in Hunger Games trilogy. In fact, I'll be reading Hunger Games soon to see how this new information about Snow impacts my thoughts on him as an antagonist.
