As an adult, I feel like the Christian imagery just slaps you in the face. I noticed as a kid, but maybe not as much?

Overall, I still really enjoyed the book and it was definitely a different experience having it read to me.

The very worst thing about this book is… Umm… The White Queen? She’s bad, right? Bad equals worst? Haha. Seriously, though, I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this book. I guess I’m biased because I’ve been reading these books since I was very young and I’ve always loved them.

The very best thing about this book is Mr. Tumnus. I just love him. :-D Well, maybe Aslan. Aslan, as you know, being the representation of Jesus coming to save the world. Okay, the best thing about this book is the “hidden” Christianity.

The very worst thing about this book is that Aslan is the one to save the day. Eh, feels like cheating to me, but it doesn’t make the story any less awesome. :-D

The very best thing about this book is when they realize for certain that they are again in Narnia and several centuries into their Narnian future.

The very worst thing about this book is the Experiment House. It sounds horrible. :-(

The very best thing about this book is Puddleglum the Marsh-wiggle. He’s so cheerfully pessimistic that I can’t help but love him!

It's been a little bit since I've read a book from beginning to end in one sitting. Not because I've not been reading good books, but because of other reasons.

This book, though. I'm not sure how to describe it without giving away the "twist" that kind of isn't a twist. I realized what was going on pretty quickly in the story, but it didn't take anything away from my enjoyment. If anything, knowing the truth made it more interesting because you felt for Jameson. You wanted to see when he would find out, how, and what his reaction would be.

I loved this story and I'm so glad it caught my eye at the library.
