I think I prefer the movie but I still really loved this. In the movie, one of my favourite things was the colouring so I feel like without that it kind of loses a bit of the magic, but I still love this story so if I see volume 2 at the library I'll pick it up!

I wasn't in love with this in the first half but as soon as the magic really kicked off I was having a great time and I loved the colouring for the magic too. If there's a second volume I'll for sure pick it up!

If there were a thousand little stories about tea dragons with art as stunning as this, I would read every single one. I loved this and I really think Kay O'Neill's artwork might be an all-time favourite of mine.

This was definitely my favourite of Katie O'Neill's works so far, I loved how they explored grief and as always, the artwork and colouring were fantastic!

This completely took me by surprise. I've never read an Emma Lord book so I had no idea what I was walking into but I absolutely loved this book! I loved getting to know Abby and Savvy as well as how distinct the other characters like Leo and Finn were. I felt like I understood all of the characters and got to know them all in such a short amount of time. I also loved the camp setting which was a total surprise to me because irl I don't think I would cope with all that mud!
I loved how authentic and real this felt and I can't wait to read more from Emma Lord in the future!

All of these books are short but damn this one feels short!

The ending feels a little bit too rushed but other than that, I think this was my favourite reread so far!

can confirm: i am very much not a horse girl. much like the first time i read this one, i really wish there had been more focus on the kelpies.

I feel like this book really caters towards the ever-iconic "horse girl" and I've never really had much of an interest in horses or horse riding to the point where not even Seanan McGuire couldn't make my cold dead heart care. I can tell you though if this was a book about cows I would've been all over it.

This was initially pitched to me as revolving around or having kelpies and I was sad to discover that really there aren't any until the very end. I wish there had been more of them but knowing the overall story and how they fit into it, I'm okay with what we got. I will say, though this obviously wasn't my cup of tea, I did really enjoy the plot twist at the end.

I feel bad. I love this series and there was nothing wrong with this book or the characters to make me dislike it, it just wasn't for me.

Oh my good lord, we've got kelpies, people! I absolutely can't wait for this!

I have somehow managed to go my entire life without being spoiled for this book and any of Agatha Christie's other novels. I have no idea how, but I'm glad of it. I love how she builds suspense and gradually breaks down characters, I just wish I could love these books more.
I love the actual mystery and I particularly love how short it is, but something about these books just doesn't click for me.

I’m very confused but I do think I might try continuing the series.

This was a completely wild and confusing ride, but you know what? I loved it. I was unsure during the first 30-ish% but then somewhere in the middle, I fell in love with this weird and incredibly confusing novel. I have no idea if I'll ever re-read this and I won't continue in the series but I know, that this is one of the best books I've read in recent memory. If you love weird, suspenseful and distant low sci-fi you should absolutely check this out!

I've been meaning to re-read this practically from the moment I finished it the first time. I didn't love it as much as I did back in 2019 but I think that was due to me knowing all the steps and beats, so that's not the book's fault. I loved the banter and the Maui setting, so I'm sure I'll be picking this up again in another few years!

I haven't read a romance in a while so I decided to buddy read this with the amazing Malka and I am SO glad I did because we had a blast chatting about this book together!
I had so much fun reading this and will 100% be buying my own copy to re-read in the future. Everything from the relatable MC to the hilarious banter was so much fun to read!

Another thing I loved was Olive's stress-baking, I found it particularly relatable and appreciated her being a "bigger" character. Check out this link for another perspective on the weight conversation.

Exactly what the Goodreads star prompts say: It was ok. I am the most underwhelmed I have ever been by these epilogues...

#1 The Duke and I Epilogue II - Pretty boring. I'm sure this would be great for fans of the series but I've only read the first book so I'm not very attached to the family at this point. ⭐⭐⭐
#2 The Viscount Who Loved Me Epilogue II - God damnit, okay that was fun ⭐⭐⭐
#3 An Offer From A Gentleman Epilogue II - A bit boring but just because I feel literally no attachment to Posy ⭐⭐.5
#4 Romancing Mr Bridgerton Epilogue II - Like the other stories this was pretty boring, but I did really enjoy seeing Colin again. ⭐⭐.5
#5 To Sir Phillip, With Love Epilogue II - b o r i n g ⭐⭐
#6 When He Was Wicked Epilogue II - Definitely my favourite story so far, but I think that's due to these two being some of my favourite characters and the story actually properly focusing on them, which the others don't always do. ⭐⭐⭐.5
#7 It's In His Kiss Epilogue II - Thanks, I hate it. ⭐⭐
#8 On The Way To The Wedding Epilogue II - This was very sad but I appreciated it. Definitely an improvement on the original story. ⭐⭐⭐
#9 Violet In Bloom Novella - Such a sad way to end an anthology, I did like getting to know the characters more though. ⭐⭐⭐

It took me a hot second to get into this and I thought it was a bit ridiculous but somewhere in here I got attached to the characters and suddenly I was along for the ride completely and now I'm planning on reading this entire 7 book series??? I really enjoyed the brothers as a unit, so I'm definitely interested to see where this series goes.
