I've been meaning to re-read this practically from the moment I finished it the first time. I didn't love it as much as I did back in 2019 but I think that was due to me knowing all the steps and beats, so that's not the book's fault. I loved the banter and the Maui setting, so I'm sure I'll be picking this up again in another few years!

I haven't read a romance in a while so I decided to buddy read this with the amazing Malka and I am SO glad I did because we had a blast chatting about this book together!
I had so much fun reading this and will 100% be buying my own copy to re-read in the future. Everything from the relatable MC to the hilarious banter was so much fun to read!
Another thing I loved was Olive's stress-baking, I found it particularly relatable and appreciated her being a "bigger" character. Check out this link for another perspective on the weight conversation.
