Sawyer & Fin: Adventurous Hearts Series Book 1 by Zeia Jameson
5 Stars
Fin is doing everything she can to get the small town she lives in to forgive her for the past and also to protect her sister and make sure she doesn't follow in her footsteps. She has a very supportive family, and a supportive roommate? She is head coach of the girls high school softball team, a sport she played in while attending the same school, and had hopes of making it a career, she also teaches at the local dojo, hoping to prove to the town that she is committed to helping others. She delivers cupcakes to the firehouse every week, helps walk the Dr’s dogs, helps weed gardens and basically lives her life being as helpful and responsible as she can. The tragedy that occurred 2 years ago haunts her daily and she is doing all she can to make up for it.
Sawyer, in town and under the protection of his detective uncle. He was forced to leave home after accidentally making a very bad decision. Now he has to lay low, follow the rules and do his best to stay alive. He basically moves into the fire station in town and becomes the guys personal chef. Being the new guy in town he pretty much has to put up with the many pranks that are pulled on from the guys and little by little he becomes one of them.
When Sawyer and Fin meet their connection is instant but neither of them will act on it. They both have their pasts ruling their lives and have no intentions on sharing what is going on. Little by little the more they spend time together they realize they are each everything the other wants for their future. The problem is they are each being so careful in their lives which makes having fun kind of hard. Can these two get past their pasts and learn to trust each other and when the temptation for adventure gets too strong can they make it through all that that might entail? When Sawyer's past catches up to him, he does what he has to do to stay alive, even if that means walking away.
I loved this book, I loved the characters and the town, and the storyline was amazing. I loved the interaction of all the guys at the fire station, I loved the sassy sparring between Sawyer and Fin, I loved her parents, I just loved everything about this book. I can't wait to check out the rest of this authors books, she is amazing!!

Will Fin risk it all and reveal her past and that one tragic night? Will her past be the one thing that ruins what he thinks of her? Will it stop her from moving forward? Will it make him run? Sawyer decides risking it all, risking being discovered is worth it when he meets a beautiful woman. He knows he should stay away and he wants to stay away, to keep her safe, but he just doesn’t know how. Being with her could be the one thing that reveals his existence and brings trouble to the doorstep of those he cares about. Will Sawyer risk it all and reveal his past and what he is running from? Will his past be the one thing that ruins what she thinks of him? Will it stop him from moving forward? Will it make her run? Will they be able to stay away from trouble or will trouble find them?
Zeia is a good writer who is able to pull you into her story and make you feel for the characters. There is some mystery, suspense and romance all rolled up into one. It is an easy read and an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Sawyer & Fin by Zeia Jameson
4 stars
Sawyer & Fin by Zeia Jameson, is the first book I've read by this author and I fell in love with these troubled characters. Told in dual POV of Sawyer and Fin, we get tons a questions pretty quickly, but the answers are slow to come, which is tied to earning trust between these two.
Sawyer just moved to town to stay with his uncle until the heat dies down from some trouble he found himself in. He decides laying low and not connecting with anyone is the best option, until he meets Fin. Something about her draws him right in and he finds himself wanting to open himself up to her, but fears for her safety if he does so. As his secrets are revealed, we learn how he got into trouble but its not what I thought it'd be for!
Fin is the towns do gooder, well now anyways. She used to be the town daredevil and wild child, bringing her little sister along with her. When an accident happens she blames herself, and is doing everything she can to get the town in her good graces again. Meeting sawyer, she finds she wants to let him in but is afraid he'll run far far away. After he gains her trust, he disappears and with his skills, shes able to help when her sister gets into trouble.
Can two people with some hard circumstances, overcome them and trust each other? Or will they always wear the weight of the past on their shoulders?

Sawyer and Fin is the first book I have read by author, Zeia Jameson. It is book one in the Adventurous Hearts series.
Sawyer done a bad thing and got himself in the middle of a sticky situation, which required him to go into hiding to save himself and stay out of prison. He thought he was ten foot tall and bulletproof. It was a hard lesson to learn that he was not, and had landed himself into serious hot water. Never one to do things by halves, he had this sexy wildness about him that was hard to contain, but his life depended on him calming down and staying out of trouble.
Fin is just as wild as Sawyer, but after tragedy strikes, she becomes a more sedate and mild mannered version of herself. She will do anything to protect her sister from making the same bad decisions she made. Fin keeps a lid on the wildness as best she can, as she tried desperately to gain the forgiveness of so many in her town, and to be a good example to those who look up to her. Not many people will allow her to forget and move forward, but Fin’s strength and determination keeps her on the straight and narrow.
Sawyer and Fin both hold back on the attraction that naturally draws them to one another. Fin would love nothing more that to walk wild with Sawyer, but too much is at stake she would never be the same of she was to lose more of herself than she already has. sawyer did not want to drag Fin into his situation and did not want to fall completely for her, only to have to leave. It seemed that them being together was a hopeless dream, but little ol’ Cupid had other ideas.
Their journey was one I was thrilled to read about. There were many crazy, wild moments, and also very serious and highly emotional moments. I connected with these very mature and complex characters almost immediately, and enjoyed their wild ride a little too much. I am still trying to come back down to earth after this thrilling story. This is just the beginning of my beautiful reading relationship with the very clever author. 5 amazing stars.

Really good Story, this was my second read from Zeia and it wasn't a disappointment. The relationship between the two main characters, was very well written.
