Sawyer & Fin by Zeia Jameson
4.0

Fin has been labeled a troublemaker in her town and has made some bad choices in her past. Fin is trying to make up for the pain she has caused by staying out of trouble and showing she can be responsible. Fin finds herself trying to keep her younger sister from making bad choices just like she did and hoping one day that she will be forgiven for that one tragic night. But whilst Fin is trying to do that she is suppressing who she really is. Not only does the town need to forgive her but she needs to forgive herself and maybe, just maybe the new guy in town could be the one to do it. Will Fin risk it all and reveal her past and that one tragic night? Will her past be the one thing that ruins what he thinks of her? Will it stop her from moving forward? Will it make him run? Will Fin find the forgiveness she seeks.

Sawyer is new to town, he is hiding from something and is trying to lay low, trying to stay out of trouble. Sawyer decides risking it all, risking being discovered is worth it when he meets a beautiful woman. He knows he should stay away and he wants to stay away, to keep her safe, but he just doesn’t know how. Being with her could be the one thing that reveals his existence and brings trouble to the doorstep of those he cares about. Will Sawyer risk it all and reveal his past and what he is running from? Will his past be the one thing that ruins what she thinks of him? Will it stop him from moving forward? Will it make her run? Will they be able to stay away from trouble or will trouble find them?

Zeia is a good writer who is able to pull you into her story and make you feel for the characters. There is some mystery, suspense and romance all rolled up into one. It is an easy read and an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
