Sawyer & Fin by Zeia Jameson
5.0

Sawyer and Fin is the first book I have read by author, Zeia Jameson. It is book one in the Adventurous Hearts series.

Sawyer done a bad thing and got himself in the middle of a sticky situation, which required him to go into hiding to save himself and stay out of prison. He thought he was ten foot tall and bulletproof. It was a hard lesson to learn that he was not, and had landed himself into serious hot water. Never one to do things by halves, he had this sexy wildness about him that was hard to contain, but his life depended on him calming down and staying out of trouble.

Fin is just as wild as Sawyer, but after tragedy strikes, she becomes a more sedate and mild mannered version of herself. She will do anything to protect her sister from making the same bad decisions she made. Fin keeps a lid on the wildness as best she can, as she tried desperately to gain the forgiveness of so many in her town, and to be a good example to those who look up to her. Not many people will allow her to forget and move forward, but Fin’s strength and determination keeps her on the straight and narrow.

Sawyer and Fin both hold back on the attraction that naturally draws them to one another. Fin would love nothing more that to walk wild with Sawyer, but too much is at stake she would never be the same of she was to lose more of herself than she already has. sawyer did not want to drag Fin into his situation and did not want to fall completely for her, only to have to leave. It seemed that them being together was a hopeless dream, but little ol’ Cupid had other ideas.

Their journey was one I was thrilled to read about. There were many crazy, wild moments, and also very serious and highly emotional moments. I connected with these very mature and complex characters almost immediately, and enjoyed their wild ride a little too much. I am still trying to come back down to earth after this thrilling story. This is just the beginning of my beautiful reading relationship with the very clever author. 5 amazing stars.
