Overall Review
I am absolutely blown away by Fourth Wing! The moment I stepped into this enchanting world, I knew I was in for a treat. The writing is mesmerizing, the characters are captivating, and the story is expertly woven. Fourth Wing is a true masterpiece, with a unique blend of magic, adventure, and heart. The author's creativity and skill shine through on every page, making this a must-read for anyone who loves to get lost in a good book. I devoured every word, and I'm still reeling from that epic cliffhanger ending!

SPOILER ALERT!

One of the things that really stood out to me was the slow-burn romance between Violet and Xaden. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their banter is witty and engaging. But what really gets me is the way Xaden looks at Violet - like she's the only person in the world. And that kiss?!?! I ship them so hard!

I also appreciated the way the author explored themes of loyalty, duty, and sacrifice. The world-building is rich and immersive, and the dragons are truly magnificent creatures. I loved learning about their different breeds and abilities, and I'm excited to see more of them in future books!

Rebecca Yarros's writing is pure magic, weaving together a complex and suspenseful plot with deep character development and rich world-building. The characters are multidimensional and relatable, and the romance is both intense and passionate. The themes of resilience, determination, and loyalty are expertly explored, and the twisty plot will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Wow, what an incredible listening experience! The dramatized audiobook version of 'Fourth Wing' by Rebecca Yarros is a game-changer. The full cast narration, sound effects, and music bring this story to life in a way that's utterly immersive and engaging.

The story itself is fantastic, with a unique blend of military and paranormal elements that had me hooked from the start. The characters are well-developed and relatable, with complex motivations and backstories that add depth to the story.

The production quality is top-notch, with clear and crisp sound, excellent pacing, and a talented cast of narrators who bring the characters to life.

I can't wait to dive into Part 2 and see what happens next! If you're a fan of military fantasy, paranormal romance, or just great storytelling in general, do yourself a favor and grab this audiobook.

I devoured 'A Touch of Darkness' by Scarlett St. Clair in one sitting, and I'm still reeling from the experience. This book is a mesmerizing and addictive tale of love, power, and mythology, with a dash of darkness and intrigue.

The story follows Hades and Persephone, but not as you know them. This is a modern retelling, with a twist. Hades is a powerful and enigmatic figure, and Persephone is a strong and determined heroine. Their chemistry is off the charts, and their story is both passionate and heartbreaking.

St. Clair's writing is engaging and seductive, with a level of detail and world-building that's impressive. The characters are complex and multidimensional, with motivations that are both understandable and relatable.

My only criticism is that the pacing can be a bit uneven in places, and some plot threads feel slightly underdeveloped. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise fantastic book.

Overall, 'A Touch of Darkness' is a must-read for fans of mythology, romance, and fantasy. Scarlett St. Clair has a true talent for storytelling, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Luca and Merritt are living their best life that feels very close to perfect…. Until Merritt answers the door-bell one night. Standing before him is a woman…a woman claiming to be Luca’s first wife. But that’s impossible! His first wife Lydia is dead!

It took till 63% for this book to actually catch my attention the twist and turns in this story was one I was expecting. I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to continue this read as the beginning really wasn't catching my attention but I kept reading just to see if it could somehow catch my attention and since I finished it I guess in a way it did for the most part. Even though I knew where this book was going I still appreciated the twist and turns. Do i wish this book was actually a thriller yes. I didn't really see this book as a thriller though as it was just way to predictable to me and the level of suspension of disbelief and absence of logic required with this plotline was more than I could handle.
