It's been a while since I've read a book like this. Post apocalyptic, dystopian type setting, I was a little apprehensive but OMG I fell in love with this world, these characters, the setting, everything about it. It sucked me right in and I couldn't get enough of it. 

I LOVED River and Josh. Their journey to love was a unique one and I was here for it all. They found each other at a time they needed, both personally and to save their world as they know it. They became each other's person and deep down it felt like they were fated, they were soulmates and they had such a deep connection.

With what was going on and the whole premise of the plot, I was not expecting it to be funny at times. The things that River would say at times had me cracking up. His bluntness was so real. He really had no filter and was hilarious with some of the things that he said. 

also Chapter 19 and that last line 😫 honestly from Chapter 19 until the end of the book, I was on the edge of my seat, heart beating with what was happening and what was going to happen. Also that ending, because of everything the two had been through, I wanted more a different outcome, I wanted to see them with their HEA, not just up in the air like that.

I really enjoyed the majority of the side characters and I hope we get more on Caden and Finn and more time in this world.

Ruth does not play when it comes to writing an MMC that you will absolutely fall in love with and is a walking green flag. 

I don't know what it was about Collins but I resonated with her on some level. She was unapologetically herself. She has fears that held her back, just any other person but I loved that she allowed herself the chance for happiness and love. I loved how Collins interacted with Ezra too, always showing him that she cared and loved him in a way that he needed it.  

Sawyer, that man was determined. I love a good chase and my man Sawyer knew what he wanted and he went after it. He stopped at nothing to prove to Collins that she could trust him. He was the absolute sweetest and such an amazing dad. 

Finding love after loss, has to be extremely hard and all the feelings that you experience has to be confusing and conflicting but Sawyer and Collins took it at a place that both needed. 

Ahhh the teasers we got of Archer, I can tell his book is going to be a rollercoaster, I can't wait.

I don't know how I feel about this one truthfully. There were parts that I enjoyed and parts that felt flat, surface level and the pacing off a bit. 

Jackson was the sweetest. He was sunshine. I wanted to hug him for how Theo treated him. 

Theo irritated me to no end. I get the whole people pleaser thing but ugh the way that he toyed with Jackson in the beginning really made me mad. 

I honestly felt like Jax and Theo's relationship was surface level and lust fueled. I didn't feel they had a deeper connection at all. It seemed like they have more time apart then then did together and then get drunk one night, magically are in love and then get married huh, what, howwwwww 🫣

The whole thing with Bridget I felt was unnecessary, why have her play such a nasty person just for her to walk away from it happily and that's it, nothing more. total build up for nothing 🥴

I was finally happy when they had the push to go after what made them both happy, but from Vegas to the end of the book I felt that it was so rushed.

I, I dont even know what to say or think. Boy was this a ride, a completely oblivious and crazy ride. 

This goes from 1 to 10000000 pretty quick. These two are completely oblivious and at times it was a little cringe worthy to me although hilarious at times. 

I didn't really connect with the characters and it felt a bit off with the pacing. 

I will say that I was highly entertained through the whole book.

I've been with Shae for awhile and I will admit, I am not a fan of this one. Now hear me out, the premise was there but there was just something really lacking for me. 

I love love love a good age gap, add in best friend's dad and I'm sold. 

I really like Cole. He was such a good friends even though sometimes things seemed to cross the lines or maybe that's the inconsistences of the story??? At times I felt bad for Matteo and other times wanted to throttle Cole. 

Cole and Emiliano, together, woo weee man were they HOTTTTT!!!! Emiliano, I felt was the best part of the book. He is the definition of Mafia Don and he wears the title so well. 

Maybe it was the writing style or the inconsistencies overall that threw me off. The way Cole was talked about but then his actions were the complete opposite, just little things here and there really added up overall throughout the book.

What a raw and emotional read. 

Kellan tugged on my heartstrings so much. He was dealt a crap hand in life but now sober and wanting to do better for him self and his siblings he does everything in his power to be a better person. 

Watching Kellan struggle with being a new guardian and maintaining his sobriety was such a real issue that many struggle with. I love that he never gave up!

Phillip was such a kind gentle soul. He was exactly what Kellan needed to show that he deserved all the happiness and love he was getting. One thing I enjoyed was knowing the Phillip was the fixing kind, that he didn't try to "fix" Kellan. He realized and proved that there was nothing actually wrong with Kellan and loved him just the way he was. 

I really loved Tatum, he was such an amazing best friend. Was there no questions asked. We got teased a little with Tatum and Remy, which is the next book and I can't wait to dive in to that one. Knowing what little we know of Tatum and his background I think it is going to be just as emotional.

We have come to the end of the series and what a bittersweet goodbye it is. 

I have waited for Zane and Wyatt for so long and now that I got them, I wish I could read them for the first time all over again. 

These two have been on a rollercoaster of feelings for years. The have amazing chemistry and it all comes to light when the lines finally get blurred and they become more. 

The whole forbidden aspect of the brother best friend was done so well. Wyatt was always a strong no way I'm not going there and the back and forth was hot. 

What a great ending to the series, sad to see if go but I can't wait to see what else we get from Brooke next

These Rivers men, wooo weee man are they something else!

Ava and Sawyer were perfect for each other. You know when you meet someone and you just click, that's Ava and Sawyer. 

Ava was such a carefree spirit. I hated the insecurities she gained from her ex but I love how she began to be free and be who she was when she was with Sawyer.

Sawyer was the best. I loved him so much. He was always worried about taking care of other people that he failed to take care of himself, until Ava came barreling into his life.. see what i did there, barrel, ok I'll stop now.

These two were such incredible parents. I loved loved loved June and Ella, Junie and Yella, these two adorable little girls stole the show every time they appeared. 

Duke is next and after that little peak we got, I CAN NOT WAIT!!!

wow wow wow. Another masterpiece. Absolute banger of a book.

These two had me on my toes the majority of the book. Between their tension, their chemistry, their passion, I was hooked. 

Naomi was such a strong FMC. She experienced the unthinkable and while her coping mechanism went the best, it is a reality for many that go through the same thing. She was so fierce and sassy and I love that she made Nico work hard for her. 

I wanted to throttle Nico at times. He was so stubborn at times and in the end it was his downfall a bit. I was happy to see that he was quick to fix his ways once he had the whole truth and show Naomi he really cared but ugh the time it took to get to that point was maddening. 

In true typical Jagger fashion there were so many twist and turns and just when I think I figured it out he drops a major bomb. I mean I was half right about it but everything else I was not expecting. He answered so many questions but left me with so many more. I'm so excited to see where this new storyline heads in future books. It also opens up the door for a new series and new characters, I'm so excited.

I have really enjoyed previous books from Harloe but this one was a little struggle to get through and it was all a me thing. 

I just didn't connect to either of the characters. There were times that I felt it was super rushed and not fleshed out enough. I didn't get that spark between the characters, I didn't feel that connection.

It was a cute read  at some points. The tension and banter was good.
