this was like a warm hug, hot chocolate on a cold day. this was just so sweet.

this was a cute quick read. I enjoyed all the characters and it was so low angst .

These two really intrigued me. You think they wouldn't work at all but once they finally gave in to each other, they were literal perfection. It started off a bit complicated with Haze not sure he could Imry what he needed but the fact that Haze gave Imry a chance was everything. 

I really enjoyed how these two progressed, while it seemed slow to them, my goodness it seemed like full steam ahead to me but I was here for it. Imry still heartbroken in a way and unable to open up due to a previous relationship and Haze trying to find himself after living his life for so long caving to the ways of his father, the things they both went through equally broke my heart.

The megachurch/cult plot line , it really touched on some real life topics that happen and its such a sad thing. It was dark of  what was happening within it but I enjoyed the way that it was explored throughout this book and Avory and Ellory's book.

I love the family dynamic of the Van Doren's they are so loving and accepting and everyone really needs that kind of love and acceptance in their life. 

I REALLY hope that we get more for the Van Doren's in the future.

First before anything, this is TABOO, like straight up brother TABOO!!! [;ease do not straight to read the book and yuk someone's yum, know before. If that's not your jam then skip the book.

Now that that's out of the way. I devoured this book, I loved the two/third triplets. They were such a fun read. 

While they are extremely relent on each other, like to toxic levels lol they still offered so much about themselves and their relationship. These two show that love is love and you really can not help who you fall in love with. 

I really really loved the conversations that were held with each other as well as others in this book. It really shed light on their though process with their whole relationship.

We get so much with this book. We get hilarious moments and thoughts, we get emotions, you get spice and you got plot, I mean the megachurch plot line , it really touched on some real life topics that happen and its such a sad thing.

I REALLY hope that we get more for the Van Doren's in the future.

I normally really enjoy Cala Riley books, but this one was not it for me. It was fast but then went slow. It was much longer that it should have been. 35-40% really could have been the end and the rest seemed filler and nonsense. 

I feel like the second half of the book from the 40% and on should have been in the middle right before the whole "breakup" at the 35%ish mark and it would have flowed better. 

Now dont get me wrong, it wasnt an awful book and was cute. Kellan definitely redeemed himself. While he did make amends when it came to Grace I feel like there should have been a bit more. 

Cora was so sweet. She stood her ground and really made Kellan work for her and prove to her that he changed. Their relationship flowed really well once they got through all their issues in the beginning.

I loved Grace so much. I could relate to her on so many levels. She was hilarious and so sassy. She has such a kind heart, that you just instantly want to be her friend. She is stubborn to a fault and trying to navigate her feelings in the only way she knows how to prevent getting hurt again. 

Conway, that man, is the definition of a DADDY!!!!!! The things that came out of that mans mouth would make anyone blush. While that man is hot on so many levels, the things he did for Grace was so swoon worthy. 

Conway and Grace could burn a house down with the amount of chemistry sizzlin between them. These two were like magnets to each other. They had such a strong pull that it was hard to stay away from each other once that string snapped. 

The spice was spicin for sure and the sneaking around just added another level of hotness to their relationship. This was a fast burn but the way their feelings and relationship developed was perfect for them. I love how Conway didn't give up and proved to Grace that she was his forever. 

OMG, I think I have an idea where this next book is headed with Georgia and if I'm right, I CAN NOT WAIT!!!

The beginning was a bit rough for me. I had to really push through it. The amount of obliviousness was insane, and not like awww that's so cute what an oblivious himbo, no it was like the dude, how can you be so oblivious!!

Once it moved on, things began to smooth out for me a bit. Nick was so grumpy and aloof compared to Hayden's obliviousness and sweetness. 

Overall it was a ok read.

Asher and Billie were so hot and explosive and so much. 

I love a good enemies to lovers and these two delivered on that. I loved the tension, the chemistry and the passion once things snapped. These two were messy and drama filled for sur.

Billie is what you call a bad bi*ch. She held her own and wasnt afraid to own her shit. 

Archer took me a little bit to enjoy. He had his moments that I just wanted to strangle him but slowly over time he started to win me over. 

Can't wait for the next book

Sam, I don't know how, I mean I know how with what you did to Jordan and his grief, but you seemed to break my heart and put it all back together again. You gave us so much with this book, a sweet friendship, healing and the most perfect love after loss. 

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure Jordan would ever heal and overcome his immense loss and grief, that Prologue 😭. Yet Sam, said hang on I got you babe, I will make sure that Jordan not only heals but loves again. The friendship that blossomed between Jordan and Jo was so beautiful and incredible. The adventures these two went on were everything and were so heartwarming. Jordan slowly started to open up, feel happy and began to heal. 

I LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVVVVEEEEDDDD Jo. She is unapologetically herself, loud, crazy and so fun. You just instantly fall in love with her and want her as your friend. I love how she ensured that Jordan always felt safe in not only his feelings but his grief as well. She knew that he needed a friend and she gave her all in to that friendship.

Watching these two slowly fall in love throughout the book was so beautiful. I was so happy and giddy when things began to fall in to place and the lines began to blur with them. Jordan deserves all the happiness and Jo is his perfect match. 

I'm not sure how Sam can top this book but I'm so excited to see what else is in store for this series.

I didn't think another Blackwell could top Bridger but my goodness does Beckett hold top spot. That man is everything. 

Beckett, ooo that man, that man  is a walking green flag. 
Understands his girls needs. Check.
Puts her first above everything else. Check. 
Worships her like the queen she is. Check. 
Supports her dreams. Check. 
Loves her dog just as much as her. Check. 
Reads along with her and to her. Check.
That man can do no wrong. 

I loved Skyla so much, she was such a strong fierce FMC. She is relatable and you just instantly fall in love with her personality. 

I really enjoyed watching these two fall in to such a effortless relationship. Beckett loves that woman like something fierce and does everything in his power to make her feel safe. 

Their love was truly something special. They each loved each other in a way that they both needed. They were each others safe space and person. 

Billie and Connor are next, yes ma'am sign me right up. I can't wait for those two! The chemistry and tension already 😏 I can't wait to see their story unfold.

This was a fun quick read. While it was short, we still got a good story with Holden and Lenora.

I like Lenora, while she had a huge setback with her career in dance after her injury, she sulked for a little but then she was determined to make her life something that she could be happy about. 

Holden has always been known as the playboy, the once who doesn't settle down, that is until Len come's crashing in his life and setting his world on fire. 

I enjoyed the chemistry between these two. I loved the banter and the teasing and how at ease they were with each other so quickly. Their relationship really felt so natural from the beginning. 

It's the end of an era with the Daddy's Issues series but hoping we can see some of these couples in future books.
