What a cute second chance. As usual with Mikayla's book, there is low angst and a guaranteed HEA. 

Stella and Greyson were meant for each other, they were each other' soulmates and it broke my heart to see how they were torn apart for so many years. The lies and manipulation was insane and side note; Greyson's mom is cray cray. 

Harper is just the cutest little girl. She light up the pages every time she made an appearance. Children are so resilient, she was handed a horrible card before she was even born but she accepted Greyson and was so happy when she found out the truth about him. 

I enjoyed watching Stella and Grey fall back in love again. I also really liked how Grey finally began to get color back in his life and open up to his team.

Tate and Wren sucked me right in. 
My heart absolutely broke for Tate from the beginning but when more of his past comes to light, I was sobbing right along with him when he was talking about it. You could feel the confusion, pain, grief, every emotion, you could feel it right along with him. 

Wren has his own grief that he has to bare the scars of everyday of his life. He is just trying to navigate his life in his small minded town, get done with high school and start a career with his music. That is until Tate comes along and crashes in to his life. 

Both of these both had a struggle to their HEA, they both needed to grow and to heal to offer the love they both deserved. I loved watching these two slowly open up to each other and heal a part that they didn't damage. 

When Tate finally stood up for himself in every way, ahhh I loved that so much. I was so happy!!! 

This does come with the typical small town, high school drama and angst but   was well written where it didn't overshadow the true stars of the book/ I thought there was really great character development. 

Debut author and wow what a first book. I can't wait to see what is next!

 honestly i should have learned after previous books from this author were a hit and miss for me that i didnt really vibe with. I tried, I really did but this one was a bit of a miss for me yet again. 

I really really enjoyed Dev.
Brody honestly, just ugh. nope. 

i went in to this book without reading any other in the series and I will tell you I felt extremely lost. There was so many names and backstory that I didnt really understand. If you jump in to this book, I highly recommend reading the others in the series first. 

while i was lost surrounding some characters and how they play in to everything, what i was not lost on was my enjoyment with Barrett and Reghan. It was really fun watching them fall in love while its a bit forbidden and trying to solve a crime.

This is new territory for Courtney and I think she absolutely smashed it. 

This wasn't just erotica, this was so much more. I mean yeah, the spice was spicin for sure, it was HOOOTTTTT, but these men, there was so much more to them.

Each of these men add something to their relationship. Knox is the Daddy that keeps his boys in check , Ryder is the missing piece they wanted but didn't know they needed and Finn, Finn is the glue that holds them all together. They just work, they are perfect each other and I loved watching them slip in to a dynamic that worked so perfectly for them.

Outside of the spice, there is depth to these characters, Finn with his modeling career and the fallout from that. May I also add, Courtney touched on a subject that is so true and it's such a sad thing that models have to go through that. Ryder is his heartbreaking backstory, he thinks he is broken and I loved watching him slowly heal over the time he spent with Knox and Finn. 

There is more coming in this series and I can not wait for Atlas next.

 I love a good enemies to lovers vibe, its one of my favorite tropes and I really thought I was going to enjoy this book but yeah, not for me. 

I was left wanting more, the writing style was one I could not mesh with, extremely repetitive and parts felt as if it was dragging on and then once we get towards the end of the book, it was a rush to the finish and it just did not cross that finish line for me.

I had really high hopes for this one but I feel a bit let down. I didn't feel a connection to either of the characters and with them being separated for 8 years, I was expecting more angst, more I don't know, something but I just felt nothing, it felt a bit flat for me. 

Don't get me wrong these two were cute and they have a love that many could only hope for. But how did Micah leave and have a few small roles in things, be back in Aqua Vista for a few weeks and magically be in love with the place all over again and no longer want to be in LA pursuing an acting career. It didn't make much sense to me.

While this one was not my favorite in the series, I am looking forward to the next book. Both Frank and Rocco intrigue me so I'm wondering how their story will play out.

I've been waiting for these two since the first book and I was not disappointed. 

The spark and chemistry between these two was insane. 

I loved Lainey, she felt like my soul sister and I could relate to on so many levels. I love how independent she was but knew that her life could be better with Midnight and the twins. 

Midnight was a really good to his kids. He stepped up in such a big way. While he was a great dad there were times that i wanted to wring his neck for how he was with Lainey and he groveling was not up to what I thought it would be. 

Looking forward to more in this series.

Swati just knows how to write a RomCom. This book had me in tears from laughing at certain points. While it was hilarious, there was also such a captivating love story that not only involved Troy and Sarina but also their two adorable kids Rome and Pearl.

These two were perfection. They had such a strong connection from the very beginning and it only got stronger the more time they spent together. I loved how fun they were with each and how they always made sure to be their true authentic self and their banter was top tier. I mean the moments with the Sasquatch costumes will live rent free in my head. 

Rome and Pearl, they stole the show every time they made an appearance. They were the absolute sweetest kids and the way the family blended together so seamlessly, it was beautiful. 

I just have to say those group chats AND the name of them. Chef's kiss. Perfection. Hilarious.  

Nisha is next and a second chance after a divorce. YYYEEESSSSS, sign me right up!!

From the beginning Griffin has this urge to protect this cute stranger Andi. He has no idea why but he does everything in his power to make sure she is safe. There's this attraction there, doesn't think he was going to see her again and next thing he knows, she shows up on his doorstep looking to be his new nanny.

These two were cute. I love how Andi calmed Griff out and got him to get out of his very serious all the time mind frame. They really balanced each other out and complimented each other so well.

Andi was so fun. I like that she didn't take anything too serious and was down for whatever. She really seemed to instantly fit in to Griff's life perfectly in all aspects and her with the twins, so cute. 

There were some things that I wish we got more of on page rather than off page, but overall a cute read. Looking forward to the next in the series.
